Does anybody know of any websites that are good for family member to read?

The site I refer my family to is www.spotlighthealth.com (from that home page, click on "morbid obesity"). This is the site that tells all about Carnie Wilson's surgery, and now includes Ann Wilson's story (who has the Lap-Band), too. It's a great site for your support group because it is beautifully produced, good clear graphics, and thorough explanation of the surgeries. The site has videos to watch -- interviews with Carnie and Ann, their surgeons, and families. I find it the perfect introduction to WLS to recommend to friends! Good luck with your surgery!
