Question:
Has anyone with the AGB ever had port pain past 4 months post-op?

I am just about 4 months post-op and my port (which was placed in an abdominal muscle on the left) is still causing me pain. I haven't been able to sleep on my sides since surgery. The discomfort is constant and any strain,even bending over or reaching way up or even raising up from being on my back causes it to get much worse. The pain even "travels" to the lower left side and can be sharp. I've had x-rays and C-scan which show nothing.    — Heather M. (posted on January 27, 2003)
