Any doctors in Houston TX that do Lap RNY???

I am looking for a doctor in Houston to do Lap RNY. I am with a company that is self-insured and administered by Centra. Please help me!!! I know Lap RNY is the way to go!    — Cathy M. (posted on September 1, 1999)

Cathy; I am in Houston and know of only 2 people that are going to be doing Lap RNY this year. Dr. Frank Moody and his partner, Dr. McFadgen will be doing Lap RNY this coming year. At least that is what they have told me they plan to do. Dr. Moody did my RNY in Aug98 and wanted to start doing Lap in 2000. They can be reached at UT Medical School - Herman Hospital. There are no lap surgeons in Houston that do RNY. As far as I know there are none in Texas. There are 3 RNY surgeons in Houston. Ferrari, Jayakumar and Sundgram. Good Luck!!
