Question:
Is there a lap r n y surgeon in the Columbus OH area?

I live in Ironton Oh (near the so. most part of the state, OH,KY,WVA tri state area) I would like to know where the closest Laproscopic RNY surgeon is, I know of surgeons in the Columbus OH area that perform the open RNY procedure.    — Bonnie S. (posted on April 25, 2000)

Hi Bonnie-My surgeon Dr. Fallang I believe is doing Lap RNY's. He does open as well. He is located 20 mins south of Dayton in Middletown. The # is 1-800-424-3533. Take Care.

Hi Bonnie. The Ohio State University Hospital Center for Comprehensive Weight Management can give you information about their surgeon who is currently doing the lap RNY. I don't have their number but I believe it is available at the OSU Hospital website. Good luck!

Dr. Blaine Nease is in Portsmouth Ohio. 740-354-4491 Dr. Nease does the Lap RNY or the open if needed, at Southern Ohio Medical Center and he is great. Dr. Nease also has a very informative seminar 2 or 3 times a month at the Life Center in Portsmouth. He is looking at the Chillicothe area for future seminars. Had my Lap RNY on March 20, 2002 and I feel like a new person.
