How far post-op are you? What goes down OK? What kinds of things are hanging up? How much volume are you doing in say, 10 minutes? Are you trying to drink with solid food? Any saliva coming back (foam?)?

sounds like the same problem I am having. I think my problem is that I eat to fast. We are supposed to make our meals last 1/2 hour and that is very hard for me. If i drink water to fast my stomach really hurts. I am going to talk to my DR when I go in for my 2 month check up. I am 1month and 1 week post op. Hope this helps

I too have had a lot of pain and digestive problems. I could eat liquid or very mushy foods, like yogurt or oatmeal, but nothing more solid. Lots of pain, for hours and vomiting. I have had the stoma stretched twice by Endoscopy. It really helped, I am not yet eatly "normally", but can eat more and more variety, and no more vomiting. I am still having significant pain, especially when sitting upright or standing walking. Tests so far have not identified what is causing it. Linda M. (7 mo. post-op Lap RnY)
