Question:
Looking a Blue Cross of CA PPO Dr. in San Franicsco Bay Area to do my surgery

I'm checking out the following doctors: Dr. Wetter, Dr. Patti, & Dr. Jossart. Only Dr. Patti is on my isurance plan and Dr. Wetter is less experensive then Dr. Jossart who charges $3000 for a program fee - which when I called to ask what that included, they were very vague. Does anyone have feedback on Doctors that I've listed or know of any others in the San Francisco Bay area?    — Kimberley D. (posted on February 28, 2002)

I live in Sacramento and went out of town for my surgery. I did research docs in the bay, but Dr. Wetter was not on my insurance and Dr. Patti has a HUGE wait list. I ended up in Fresno. I think (but don't quote me) that Dr. Jossart does the DS, not the RNY so that may help you make your decision. I stayed away from docs that charged a program fee because other doctors simply offer it as part of their follow up care.
