Pre-Op Considering Surgery: Military

Why don't you ask the military recruiters in your area?

With WLS you are not allowed to return to or join the military.

No you will not be able to join, I was also interested in joining the reserves but was told by the recruiter that any type of wls is forbidden in any branch of military service due to the fact you cannot eat and drink the required amount needed to survive like in the desert for instance.
