Question:
This is a question for any post-ops who have had an arm lift.

I had an arm lift on 6/7/03 and Monday will be two weeks. I am experiencing pain in the folds of my arm (where the elbow bends). My incision is the typical one that extends appoximately one inch from the elbow through the arm pit. It is difficult for me to fully extend my arms above my head and the pain feels like my tissue in the folds of my arm have been shortend.    — Mary H. (posted on June 20, 2004)

Hi, i had my arm lift 5-26 and my incision goes from my wrist to under my arm.. I still have alot of swelling around the elbow, and pain from the nerves that were cut.. I worry myself about what my outcome will be,,, But at my elbow i still have swelling that causes my elbow to have 2 creases where it bends.. doesnt feel right, but im hoping when the swelling goes down it will feel better,, Hope this helps..

Good morning, I had my arms done 3 months ago and had the same pain you are talking about but it is gone. I do still have some discomfort in my arms just below my elbow because of nerve regeneration. But, all in all I'm very very happy with the outcome! I also had a TT at the same time.

My arm lift was four years ago, but I remember the kind of feeling you describe. It seems to me that it lasted about two months, but happened less and less often over that time period until it was gone. Take care! hugs, Ann
