Does anyone know a dr who will get rid of my apron for me i have medicare,

Alright, I feel a little silly asking this but...What is a
"pannis",apron etc?I looked in the "big dictionary" and
in a nursing dictionary but could not find the word. Is it the area where
pubic hair grows? Thanks, Sue

it is skin that hangs down like an apron on lthe lower belly. often hangs
down in front of the pubic area.

There are a lot of doctors that take medicare. I have it and they do cover
Panniculectomy and breast reduction. I'm in the process of them fixing to
summit mine to the insurance. But take LOTS of pictures for the doctor of
any and all RASHES!! And take them with you. I also took pictures of myself
holding the excess skin but the doctor will do this as well, they did me. I
just had to wait 3 months to be completely away from second hand cigarette
smoke. I have another 15 days and will be back at the doctor for them to
submit the documentation to the insurance company. Start with your bypass
doctor if you had that. They will have the doctors that take medicare.
That's where I started. I had to go to him for 3 months to document that
it was medically necessary and then got a referral from him as well as on
from my general practitioner. Hope this helps.
