Question:
Lab work shows extremely high liver enzyme levels....

I had labs run a few days ago and everything came back normal except for my liver profile which had a level of well over 300 (they say normal is around 40). They are going to run some additional testing, but my question is, I had taken Darvacet for pain for 2 days prior to the test being run, (I was taking the pain meds every four hours prior to having the test run) could that have caused my levels to be so extremely high due to having a smaller stomach and part of my intestines by-passed due to the surgery? My surgery was 13 months ago........(I'm down 110 lbs!) Any thoughts or help would be great! Thanks.    — jeannieree (posted on July 29, 2003)
