Question:
My surgery was not local and I need to find a place near for support

I had my open surgery with Dr. Alan Wittgrove in S.D. Ca., However, I live in B.H. Ca. and really need to find a local group to join and talk to. The sessions are good in S.D., But I really can't hack driving or being driven that far and getting back to take care of two little boys. If anyone knows of a group in the Beverly Hills, Westwood Or Santa Monica area, Please let me know. I really need to open up to others that will understand what I am talking about. Have you tried Dr. Livingston at UCLA in Westwood?

Ruth, I had my Lap RNY done by Dr. Clark October of 1999. I don't know of any support groups in your area, but I would be happy to exchange emails if you need some support or have some questions. Drop me a line.
