Question:
Has anyone had thier surgery at The Ohio State University in Columbus Ohio?

Can you tell me what your experiences with it were and would you recommend them? Also what was your experience with the hospital staff and were the rooms clean? Did they also have interns looking at you or assisting in your WLS? Do they have chairs for people of size and other accomodations? Also has anyone had their WLS in the new hospital that the Bariatric treatment centers have built? If so what are your thoughts on that? Thanks, K    — K T. (posted on February 16, 2001)

I, too am in the process of obtaining approval for surgery with the OSU Comprehensive Weight Management Program. I am interested to hear of others' experiences. I will be sure to repost with my own experience.

I had my surgery at Mt Carmel hospital West in Columbus and they were wonderful. I could not have asked for a better staff of people. My surgeon was Philip Price and he is the greatest. I had my surgery laporscopicly and am extremely pleased. Surgery was on January 15 and I have lost 44 pounds forever. Any questions. feel free to email me at [email protected] Best of Luck
