Question:
Anyone know of NYC area doctors performing the new adjustable banding operation.

I am pretty sure that the doctors at Mt. Sinai in NYC perform this. Check out their website SurgicallySlim.com.My doctor is Dr. Herron, but they are all great. Good info on site......Good luck

I met with Dr. Christine Ren at New York University Hospital yesterday to discuss the Lap Band. She was actually featured on News 1 (cable channel). I was extremely impressed with her. She was thorough, discussing all types of surgeries and their pros and cons. I have decided on the Lap Band as it is minimally invasive and I also believe that it suits my needs at this time.

Dr. Mitchell @ Lenox Hill does the adjustable band. Nice guy! He explains all the surgeries to you. Good Luck!
