Hi. My name is Dawn. I have read quiet a few things regarding the smelly thing from the show. I have not had my surgery yet (may 6) but i have not heard of anyone on this sight that has had that problem.

Anne, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. Dear Anne...I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I have had no problems with any type of odor since my WLS seven months ago. I do believe that there may be some problems if you have a distal RNY rather than a proximal...at least that is what my surgeon told me.

Best wishes to you on your surgery. I hope all goes well and that you have a problem free recovery. My husband and I both had wls in 2001 and have lost a total of 280 lbs. It will work for you if you work with it.
