I am 16months post op now. I am down 130lbs at this point...still having difficulty with my eating...still having to stand up while I eat...I still appreciate those who are praying for me...I go for my next GI checkup soon. Best wishes and have a happy new year

Muriel - How frustrating to be experiencing these setbacks. I pray that God will give your doctors wisdom in discerning exactly what is wrong and help them to fix it quickly. I also pray that you will be feeling better soon. Hang in there! Blessings to you!

I have been quite ill with throwing up several times a week. I am unable to advance my diet passed soft foods....anything with any texture comes up...nothing is stuck....will have to check about a scope soon...keep me in your prayers. Muriel

Congratulations! As you might remember we had our sugery on the dame day. I am glad that you made it home so quickly, I had to stay for 4 days. I am already down 13lbs. How are you doing? By the way I have a good soup for you while you are on liquids only. Its called Lipton cup of soup-Cream of chicken. It comes in a box with several packets of powder that you just add water to. I promise it is the tastiest broth/liquid! My kids even beg me for bites of it, I finally had to make them some for lunch yesterday so that they would leave mine alone. Keep me updated on your progress. Good luck and a quick recovery to you!
