    Surgeon Info:
    Surgeon: Leo J. Murphy M.D.
Dr Murphy is Great.concerned about the whole patient. my impression hasn't changed about Dr Murphy over time The Staff is very helpful and conciderate there was nothing that I disliked about Dr Murphy Dr. Murphy is easy to talk to, kind and compasionate. I feel he takes care of you like you were one of his family members, and is very personable The aftercare program consists of 5 check-up at regular intervals the first year and then one checkup annually. He prescribes excercise and suppliments. They also have monthly support groups in various areas monthly and annual reunions for wls patients The risks of surgery is his number one priority. Making sure that you recieve the very best care possible. I would say that Dr. Murphy is a excellant and competant Doctor and Surgeon. I wish that he was my Primary Care Physician I like him that well. both are great
    Insurer Info:
    Kaiser
Dealing with Kaiser is Slow Slow Slow I think Kaiser stalls a lot I do not think they respond to persistence. If you are in a hurry to get surgery or you do not have something serious wrong with you yet.(ei...Diabetes Sleep Apnea Heart Problems ) as a result of your Obesity, I recommend that you find another insurance carrier. It could take years to get approved otherwise as they wait for your health to deteriate before they approve you. I have heard of horror stories of people waiting as much as 3 years for approval, simply because they were too healthy.
