An EXCELLENT choice for bariatrac surgery. Dr. Sandor is Awesome I would send any one that i knew that was thinking about bariatrac surgery

Dr. Andras Sandor, Stoneham MA. An amazingly calm,gentle, intellegent & well experienced, reassuring physician. Very open. Lovely manner. Respectful of my time and the path that brought me to him. Staff is extroidinary. His assistant Kathy is a constant source of help, always with a smile and kindness.
I can't say enough about Dr Sandor, Kathy his assistant and Kathy his nurse! All I know is that I cannot imagine going through all of this without them. They really make you feel as though you are their only patient.
We now have our own support group, where 'old timers' are there to talk, openly, about the entire procedure. It's also a place where we can explore new ideas, diet issues, plastic surgical concerns and just laugh! The site is warning me that it's impossible to give a 100% review.
I'm here to say that's just not true....Thank you Dr. Sandor. You are the best!

Dr Sandor is wonderful. Having gone to meetings at three other programs before his, I knew at my first appointment that Dr Sandor was the surgeon for me. He listened to me and we had real conversation. He was extremely thorough and I felt he was truly there, in the moment. His right arm, Kathy, was the first person I spoke with at his office, and she has the same qualities. She was the reason I made the first appointment, and made the journey pre-surgery seemless, always guiding and encouraging. Dr Sandor visited me at least daily in the hospital and his NP, Karen, met with me at least daily in the hospital, as well. Karen is fantastic. She kept me informed, answered all of my questions, and worked with me to meet all of my specific needs. Dr Sandor is an excellent surgeon, and he and Karen both have amazing bedside manner. This team is truly amazing.

Amazing....comfortable from day one...addressed all my concerns, caring, thoughtful, great bedside manner. Staff is amazing....my life has changed totally!

Dr. Andras Sandor is going to be doing my surgery. He had previously removed my appendix almost a year ago in an emergency surgery and I had a great experience with him and his secretary Kathy. He works out of a center of excellence (Winchester Hospital) and his office is closeby to where I work. He has been extremely informative and wonderful throughout all of my pre-op, and I would highly suggest him to anyone thinking of going through this process. He has a structured aftercare program with bimonthly support groups for people who are undergoing a procedure. His secretary Kathy has been there every step of the way to answer any questions no matter how stupid they are. I actually feel like I know her she is very kind and I never feel like I am bothering her when I call the office.

Dr. Sandor is part of the Commonwealth Surgical Associates practice in Stoneham, MA and they are all great! From the first day I met them I felt like I was an important person to them...not just another nameless patient. I was walked through the entire process start to finish, talked about what I was looking to get out of surgery and the steps needed to get there. Kathy, Dr. Sandor's assistant, was awesome throughout the entire process. I must have called her a million times!

I just had the lapband revised over to the RNY a week ago. I tried the lap-band for three years and it just didn't work for me. I need something that is more drastic. I had surgery a week ago and have had no side effects, no complications. I feel great! Dr Sandor was awesome, he answered all of my questions, made sure to stop by in the hospital every day to see how I was doing, gave me good instructions when I was discharged. I am very happy with my surgery and feel like I finally am on my way to losing the weight once and for all.

I love him! Dr. Sandor is truly an angel. I couldn’t feel more confident or excited about my surgery. His genius coupled with his impeccable bedside manor make him an ideal choice. I am looking forward to having his guidance throughout this journey!

My first impression of Dr. Sandor was that he seems so kind and understanding. He is extremely knowledgeable and put me completely at ease. After meeting with him I just knew this was all meant to be.

I have not have more than this experience with him yet- but I will be sure to update as I move through this process.

He is the most compasionate doctor I have ever met. He takes the time to sit with you and listen to you....I have spoken to many of his patients and agree with what I have been told. His secretary Kathy is the best!!!
