I met Dr. Scott for the first time in November of 2008 when I moved back home. I remember thinking he was quiet, but I think that may have been because the presentation was done by Dr. Bour. I went home that night not sure if surgery was for me. After thinking about surgery, researching surgery, I finally joined the program in March of 2012. I started the group sessions, attended all my appointments with the psychologist and nutritionist, and started keeping track of my weight. I met Dr. Scott and my first impression is he is very informative about every aspect of this process. He was a straight shooter and that I admire. He left me with no questions unanswered, he was very clear on his expectations, and I never felt like just a number. I felt very confident in his ability to keep me safe before, during, and after surgery. He made precautionary calls such as putting me in ICU due to my pre-surgery weight and even preparing me for the possibility of rehabilitation hospital. Dr. Scott emphasized walking (exercise), following the program, and contacting him/staff if there were any questions after surgery. I couldn't imagine a better surgeon!

Dr Scott has more than exceeded our expectations. My husband and I chose him as our bariatric surgeon and we are very pleased with his bedside manner, support and his whole attitude toward us. Our surgeries were on june 13, 2012. He operated on my husband first then I was next. Both of our surgeries we're successful and we are so thankful to him for how well he has cared for us, even returning a call at 3 in the morning that turned out to be gas pains. His nurse called the next morning to recheck to make sure my husband was ok. Thanks to all of the staff at UMG Bariatric Solutions for being our new lifetime family and especially Dr Scott for giving us this new tool so that my husband and I can have a healthier happier life together!

I thought they were awful at first.rnYep I was thinking they were totally against me. WHY didn't they send in my paperto the Insurance company???rnNow I realize they are just trying to help me, they are looking out for me. They seen the big whimp in me.rnI had to get it in my head that getting WLS wasn't just a \"FIX ME BUTTON\"...rnI'm all ready to work with these people now, and now I actually feel they care. rnI haven't had the opportunity to meet with the surgeon yet, but I heard many great things about him. He's not like some surgeons that don't have time for you, I heard he really cares and he's got a great bedside manner, and that he gives great advise... I can't wait to meet him. Hopefully it is soon, and he see's me as a candidate for WLS. rn

Dr. Rapp is a true professional. He and his staff have been extremely supportive and accessible. I have nothing but postive feedback.

I love Dr. Rapp, my decision to have him do my surgery was based on others he had performed the surgery on. But after this process I am so incredibly happy I chose him, He is a wonderful doctor that knows what he's doing. His office staff is just great I would absolutely rate them a 10. Dr. Rapp after surgery called everyday for the first week and that realky impressed me so highly that he cares that much about his patients, that he did it personally and not his office for him. If I had to rate Dr. Rapp I would without a doubt give him a high 10, he is wonderful. I would recommend him highly...
