I decided to have lapo gastric bypass September 2011, Dr. Adeyeri made me feel so comfortable to be able to talk about my demons with weight gain, and what procedure would be best for me with the longest results. He allowed me to make the decision. When my pre op appointment came he answered all my questions and reassured me he would be ok, his sense of humor helps a great deal. Surgery day he again explained what he was going to do, talk to my mother and assured her I was in good hands, and I would be ok. I am 7 days post op and I have had nothing but good results and an awesome experience. Dr. A and his team, Julie and Mara are awesome. I was recommended to him from a friend and I will do so!! He has changed my life, and I will be forever thank you!!

I have been battling diabetes for 8 years with no end in sight.
My Endocrinologist suggested I seek further help and told me about DR. Adeyeri's lectures at Raritan Bay Medical Center O.B.
After hearing what Dr.A had to say & the way he presented the information touched me. He was a humanitarian first, putting his patients first and the surgery second. He stressed that the procedure should be a good fit & people must be well educated before jumping into a life changing situation. I made an appointment with Dr. A's office where he took an entire hour with me explaining my options, answering all my questions & giving me additional information that would be required of me first. I was in awe that there was a physician who really cared for his patients weather they had the procedure or not. Dr. A kept me on track while keeping my best interest at heart. Once my pre-quals were complete, he again talked with me to be sure I understood the benefits as well as the risks. I felt in good hands not only because he is an excellent surgeon, which came to me each time I mentioned his name to other physicians but because I knew he was in my corner every step of the way . My surgery was March 15th 2012 & a gastric sleeve was preformed. The surgery went well, however I have major allergies to medications & the elements so after surgery spiked a fever. Dr. Adeyeri jumped right on additional care and I had round the clock care above and beyond at Raritan Bay Medical Center O.B. They may be a small hospital but there is nothing small about caliber of their service. I am now home and on the fast track to a full & successful recovery. I will continue to attend the support groups which Dr.Adeyeri also attends & encourages people to tell their stories. The support group to me is better than any medicine. Dr. A is always coming up with upbeat actives to help us all succeed, together. If you are looking for a Bariatric Surgeon, give Dr. Adeyeri a call and see for yourself if he is not everything I said he is and more. Thank you Dr. Adeyeri for being you & taking care of me.

I first met Dr.Adeyeri in May of 2011, I had made the decision to have a gastric bypass. I was initially working with another surgeon, and had a date set for surgery. Due to problems with insurance I had to find another surgeon, this is how I met Dr.Adeyeri, he was very patient And understanding, he required I have additional testing before he would schedule surgery. I was some what upset by this, as I was ready to go. Dr.Adeyeri was patient, but firm with the requirements. Finally the day arrived August 17, 2011. Dr. Adeyeri is very caring and understanding, he makes himself available to his patients 24/7. When you are meeting with him he is focused on you and only you. He never rushes you and takes time to completely answer any and all questions, he will not leave you til he is 100 percent sure you are in complete understanding of the information you requested. I highly recommend Dr.Adeyeri, I have recommended him to three different friends in the last three months.

I had my first weight loss surgery in January of 2008, Dr. Washington put in the lap-band. Dr. Adeyeri removed my lap-band in October 2011 due to complications and an overall 5 lb. weight loss. At that time we had scheduled the gastric sleeve procedure for January 2012. Dr. Adeyeri is one of the most kind, compassionate doctors that I have come across. My body gave him a hard time with both procedures that he did, but he was more concerned with my overall safety and comfort throughout it all. 5 weeks after surgery and I am down 25 lbs. This weightloss comes from the surgery, diet and exercise, but without Dr. Adeyeri and his amazing staff (Mara, Julie, and everyone that had their hands in my surgeries), this wouldn't have been possible. If I had to do it all again, I wouldn't go to any other doctor! Their office also has a great before/after surgery support system. All throughout the process, the office was only a phone call away and would get you the answers you needed. My scarring is minimally and my overall discomfort with the procedures was low. Thank you Dr. Adeyeri for taking such good care of me... and helping me to achieve my goals for a healthier me!!!

My decision to have weight loss surgery was not an easy one to make, but I started doing some research and my insurance company refered me to centra state hospital for an informational meeting where I meat Dr Sean. He was very informative I decided that this was something I wanted to do. When I made my appointment I was advised I would have o see Dr sean's associate Dr Adeyeri. i first met with him in July 2010. Dr A made an impression on me. His honesty and compassion was the first thing I noticed. I went to one of his support group meetings and I listened to people praise Dr A. I was unsure of what procedure was best for me. After that meeting I was sure that Dr A's recommendation was the way to go. I scheduled my gastric bypass surgery for 1/12/2012.
My stay at raritan bay medical center was fantastic. The first thing I would like to say is the private room was a definite key in my recoup process I was able to rest and sleep without the disturbance of a roommate, or worrying about annoying someone else. The staff was amazing everyone the were kind and caring every person i came in contact with from my pro-op to my discharge. I will say that after my surgery I now know why Dr A's patients hold him in such high regard. He is a wonderful person he made sure I was doing ok stressed what I needed to do to recover. He spent time with me after surgery never left until he knew I was comfortable with everything.
What really impressed me about this man is he not only took time to speak with me he also spent time with my family before and after surgery to make sure they were also comfortable with this process . Dr A has an amazing bedside manner which i find these rare.
I know this is a very personal decision but if anyone asked me if I would recommend the surgery I would send them to a meeting and I would refer them to Dr, A.
See you at the support group !!!
Thank you Dr Adeyeri !!

I met Dr. Adeyeri back in September of 2010. A friend of mine had referred me to the Central Jersey Bariatrics office where she to had received bariatric surgery. Bariatric surgery was something that I had been thinking about for most of my life , but always backed away from the idea. After going to one of Dr. Adeyeri's seminars at Centra State Medical Center I realized that this was for me. After the seminar I met with Dr. Adeyeri to discuss my options. He went over all of my choices , but he informed me that this was my decision and no one else could make the decision for me. I decided to have the sleeve procedure after careful thinking and lots of research. On Decemeber 7, 2010 I had the sleeve surgery. This surgery has changed my life. Dr. Adeyeri did a fantastic job and I recovered very quickly. After about a week and a half I felt better and could now start my weight loss journey. It has been 70 days since my procedure and I am down 42 lbs. I recommend this surgery to anyone who is thinking about having weight loss surgery and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Adeyeri.

My experience with Dr. Adeyeri and his staff has been excellent to date, everyone has been very professional and helpful. Dr. Adeyeri shows a true concern for all his patients before, during and after your surgery.

I first met Dr. Adeyeri in September 2011 at my initial consultation. At that time I was suffering from Insulin Dependent Type 2 Diabetes, Hypertension, Sleep Apnea and Morbid Obesity. Central Jersey Bariatrics came very highly recommended by my primary doctor as well as friends who are prior patients.

It was love at first sight!! Dr. A was so kind, and patient and understanding. He took the time to explain the different surgeries and how they worked, the time frames of each stage, how I would feel physically as well as mentally and answered each and ever question I had. I was incredibly nervous at first, but he soothed my nerves and made me feel excited and positive about such a life changing procedure. What impressed me the most was that while he recommended my procedure he told me the final choice was mine to make, he wanted me to be fully informed and come to the decision on my own. My husband and I were very impressed, and within a week or so we had decided on the Roux en Y Gastric Bypass Surgery. Mara, the office receptionist, is awesome! Very friendly and down to earth, and extremely informative. She was helpful with doctor recommendations, kept in touch with me throughout my prep time and was a life saver with the insurance company! Julie, the staff nutrionist, was helpful and informative during my 3 month pre op time - explaining the rationale behind meal replacements, liver functions, and after surgery care.

My GPS was January 12, 2012 and at that time I had lost approximately 40lbs from the liquid meal replacement program I was following for the preceding three months. My surgery went very well according to Dr. A!! I was so nervous, and he put me right at ease, as did the staff at Raritan Bay Medical Center. Be prepared, they will make you get up and walk the very same day as your surgery!!! And unlike my last abdominal surgery - I did NOT get a baby with this one!

The staff at Raritan Bay was awesome, the nurses are warm and caring, and always there for me. Dr. A visited daily and made sure to check that I was walking laps around the hallways! I highy recommend this hospital - everything was clean, and fresh, and comfortable, plus private rooms!! Woohoo!!

In the 2 weeks since my GPS, I have lost an additional 15lbs. My blood sugars have been normal, my blood pressure is fine and I am off all medications for Diabetes and Hypertension. I feel wonderful, I am progressing nicely with my food recovery program as I refer to it, I had blenderized chicken for dinner and it wasn't that bad! I feel better each day, minimal pain and am back to driving with no problems.

I have a new lease one life thanks to Central Jersey Bariatrics and Dr. Adeyeri and his staff and I am very, very thankful I chose to take the plunge and go for it!

Update: 3 months after surgery, I am down a total of 88lbs, 48 since the surgery. Feeling and looking fabulous, all thanks to Dr. A and CJB!
