He is a very compassionet person who really wants to help people.

Dr. Patel and his staff are great. They are very quick to responde to emails, emergency phone calls, and to update me on any upcoming events or classes. The hospital he works out of is great to. The staff are all certified to take care of post-op weight loss surgery patients. He is great with post-op appointments and any advise needed. He has a great bedside manner and is surgically competent. I would and will refer him to anyone interested in any of the procedures available.

My doctor is Dr. Nilesh Patel. The doc is very easy to talk to and doesn't bat an eye when it comes to answering questions. He definitely has the answer and is very easy to get a hold of. He answers his emails very promptly and his staff are very knowledgable and kind. This is all before the surgery. Hopefully I will have more info after the surgery. Current rating: 4 stars.

I met with Dr. Patel yesterday. I really enjoyed our visit. He was very genuine as well as very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and really put me at ease.

I could listen to Dr. Patel speak any day, he's no nonsense when it comes to the information about the surgery. And his analogies are hilarious! The fact his team of professionals are with him everytime they come to the office in Austin, is fabulous it has saved me time and money! So when I go in for my weigh-in I can talk to the nutritionist about any problems I'm having, or complete my psych eval at my convenience.

I'm 1-1/2 months into my pre op diet for Gastric By Pass.So far my Surgeon's office has been great.They have answered any questions I had.The Seminar wasn't that great. The computer they were using didn't didn't work.And I have only talked to Dr.Patel once ( about 5 minutes). The Nutritional Lady has been great.I e-mail her with any questions I have.I investigated him on-line.He seems to have great Feed back.The only Draw back, would have liked to been able to see a better seminar after sitting in wating room for several hrs.

I really like Dr Rodriguez but right before surgery they changed hospitals, then 2 months post-op I get a letter saying he is no longer doing WLS. Now I have to find someone else for my follow-up care. rnrnWhen I started having all the problems with my Band I went to Dr Patel because 2 of the nurses at work used him and said god things about him.

I like Dr.Patel; I have not had the best results with his office staff. It seems they are in a transition mode and things are being left undone or seem to be forgotten so several attempts may be needed to contact them. Dr. Patel is very concerned about this situation and is making every attempt to rectify. I would recommend Dr. Patel as a surgeon, I like his dedication to what he does and his patients and I know I have his support.
