I cannot say enough about Dr. Sandor and his care. I am exactly one year out from surgery, lost 120lbs and for the first time in my life I am considered a "normal" weight. Dr. Sandor was patient, kind and explained all areas of the surgery, options, risks and benifits carefully to me. I attended an information seminar first, and found it extremely helpful. I had been to other doctors as well, and none explained the surgery with such factual information as well as compassion. I would recommend Dr. Sandor to anyone who is thinking about a weight loss procedure.
I have no regrets about the gastric bypass that I had, I have minimal to no scars and my health has been better than ever. I am so happy to be able to enjoy my life, husband and two young kids the way I always wanted to. Thank you to Dr. Sandor and his amazing staff for giving me a second chance at living life to the fullest!

Dr. Sandor has been wonderful! He takes the time to explain everything to you, and makes sure you understand everything. His staff through Lawrence Memorial have been fantastic--very eager to help you out with anything to make your surgery as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend Dr. Sandor!

Dr. Andras Sandor is going to be doing my surgery. He had previously removed my appendix almost a year ago in an emergency surgery and I had a great experience with him and his secretary Kathy. He works out of a center of excellence (Winchester Hospital) and his office is closeby to where I work. He has been extremely informative and wonderful throughout all of my pre-op, and I would highly suggest him to anyone thinking of going through this process. He has a structured aftercare program with bimonthly support groups for people who are undergoing a procedure. His secretary Kathy has been there every step of the way to answer any questions no matter how stupid they are. I actually feel like I know her she is very kind and I never feel like I am bothering her when I call the office.

Dr. Sandor is part of the Commonwealth Surgical Associates practice in Stoneham, MA and they are all great! From the first day I met them I felt like I was an important person to them...not just another nameless patient. I was walked through the entire process start to finish, talked about what I was looking to get out of surgery and the steps needed to get there. Kathy, Dr. Sandor's assistant, was awesome throughout the entire process. I must have called her a million times!

I just had the lapband revised over to the RNY a week ago. I tried the lap-band for three years and it just didn't work for me. I need something that is more drastic. I had surgery a week ago and have had no side effects, no complications. I feel great! Dr Sandor was awesome, he answered all of my questions, made sure to stop by in the hospital every day to see how I was doing, gave me good instructions when I was discharged. I am very happy with my surgery and feel like I finally am on my way to losing the weight once and for all.

I love him! Dr. Sandor is truly an angel. I couldn’t feel more confident or excited about my surgery. His genius coupled with his impeccable bedside manor make him an ideal choice. I am looking forward to having his guidance throughout this journey!

My first impression of Dr. Sandor was that he seems so kind and understanding. He is extremely knowledgeable and put me completely at ease. After meeting with him I just knew this was all meant to be.
