Dr. A is a WONDERFUL surgeon. I am 4 weeks post-op (2/15/12), and have had no complications. He always takes the time to answer any questions I may have, explained my surgery and possible complications. Also, while I was in the hospital, he came to see me both days! I absolutely love Dr. A! I seriously can not say enough positive things about him.

My first impression of Dr Averbach was that he didnt smile much and straight to the point. I mean this man knows his stuff. Last week i had my final appt with him and he was more outgoing and he even laughed some! I absolutely love this man! He wrote a letter to have my surgery approved by insurance company and it was approved in about 3 days. His office staff (especially Neileh) worked fast to get my surgery scheduled for the week of Christmas since I am off for 2 weeks and they were able to do so! I will be referring everyone to this office and choosing him for a doctor is one of the best things i could have ever done! I am so comfortable with him and my decision and i think that is very important...Dr Averbach is the way to go and you wont be dissappointed!

I was originally going to have my surgery in Delaware, however 1-week before I was to have it I got a call from my surgeon's office and they said "I'm sorry, but your insurance company has denied the surgery because we have not acquired our COE". I was devastated and immediately starting making phone calls. I was told that I would have to go to a doctor in Baltimore, which was about 3-hours from my home. So I sent all my information in and they got me in within about 1-week. I was originally schedule for the end of May, got in to see Dr. Averbach and by Jun 30th, 2011 I was having my surgery. I can't thank Dr. Averbach and his insurance coordinator enough for the effort they put forth to ensure I got in and had my surgery. At first, Dr. Averbach didn't say a whole lot, but now I feel he has warmed up to me and I just love him!!! I would recommend him to anyone!

My first impression of Dr. Averbach was that he was straight to the point and soft spoken. As time went on and I have had appointments he has SMILED a little more than before and has even made a joke or two which I thought was nice. Overall this surgeon is very professional and cares about his work. I would have done this procedure again in a heartbeat and would have chosen him as my surgeon again. His staff is very professional and friendly.

I knew that I was in good hands with Dr Averbach and his staff was committed to making things as easy as possible.
I had my surgery at St. Agnes which was a ways to travel for me and the staff at his office was always very considerate of the fact that I had to travel for my appts.

<p align="left">He seems very business like.

It took a while to get a smile from him but I did it :) I like to feel everyone around me is relaxed and okay with the moment.

The office staff were great and very helpful. I got lost getting to the office and they were very helpful and getting me found!

I have only had one visit so I did not find anything not to like.

He was very clear about before and after care and that it is very important to my success!

He did go over the risks very carefully.

I am really happy to be with Dr. Averbaugh and his staff for my care and surgery.

My first impression of Dr. Averbach is that he is a "to the point" kind of guy. Some may interpret it incorrectly. As a doctor he is very knowledgable. Dr. Averbach allows you to ask any questions that you might have and answers it directly with confidence and provides clear understanding. The office staff runs like a well oiled machine. They are very accomodating and willing to do anything to make sure that process runs smoothly.

Dr. A is a serious and professional surgeon who really cares about his patients. His office staff are very caring and on top of things - not a glitch in the whole process. Can only give Dr. A and his staff top marks - I truely appreciate the new chance at life that they have given me.

I could not have been more pleased with my entire experience. Dr. Averbach is a very soft spoken easy going man... Very compasionate and throughly enjoys the rewards of his work. I wouldn't change a thing... The staff handled all of my insurance porcessing and has always been super nice and accomadating.
This is a center of excellence at St. Agnes Hospital and they deserve the recognition!! From the beginning stages of learning differant options and their risk to the after care... this office is top notch!
