In 2003, he founded Citizens Bariatric Center and continues to serve as the facility director. Recently, he developed betterLife Bariatrics, an advanced outpatient program with clinics in Corpus Christi and Victoria working in association with the hospital program. Dr. McDaniel is an active member and fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He is board certified in general surgery.
