Dr. Moein is awesome! I can't say enough good about him. A week after my surgery I ran into a complication. I called him at 6:00am in the morning and he met me at the emergency room. Within hours he had me admitted and in a room. My fever spiked to 104 and the nurses told me that Dr. Moein called every hour to check on me. I had another 5 day stay in the hospital and when I was out of the danger zone, he allowed me to go home. Of course I went with IV antibiotics and a home nurse, but I was more comfortable in my own bed. When I saw him for my check up I was suffering from thrush from all the antibiotics and I begged him to put everything back to the way it was. I was tired of not feeling good. He put his arm around me and encouraged me to continue going forward. He said I would be ok and I am! I am down almost 50 lbs and I'm so grateful to Dr. Moein. Thank you Sir!

I met with Dr. Moen on 10/26. He was nice and answered all our questions. I was impressed with him because he took the time to talk to Estelle [my partner] and I about a news story he had heard that day about Gay marriage in New Jersey. On this first visit, we were to visit with all parts of the team. We were very disappointed to find that our visit with the nutritionist and the nurse practitioner were so abbreviated. I felt like my visit wasn't really as important to them as it was to me. The visit was MAJOR to me. I hope subsequent visits are better. rnrnI just read my initial impressin of Dr. Moen and I have to say that my impression of him has improved immensely/ I first met him in a visit in October. I didn't think Dr. Moen was really into it. I met him again in December at a holiday party at the center. I introduced myself to him because I figured he had forgotten me. He hadn't. He remembered me and he remembered Estelle. He was very personable and terrific. I felt so comfortable with him after that interaction. Again in March we met with him and he was terrific again. I am very happy that he's my surgeon.

I had my surgery on 2/7 so I'm just over a month post op. I'm looking forward to my check up. I hope Dr. Moen is pleased with my progress so far. He is very supportive and shows genuine concern for you. After my surgery he visited me 3 or 4 times to make sure I was up and walking. He even took a walk with me around the halls to make sure and to answer any new questions I might have had post op. I think his concerns made we want to work hard at being successful.rnTHANK YOU DR. MOEINOLMOLKI

Dr. Mo was very concerned about everything i really like that i wasn't just a number or procedure. The office staff has been super i have been to other doctors for consults and i love them hands down. Dr. Mo went over everything we had a few concerns and he wasn't going to do it just to do it. They all are very nice at the office and they really have a good program

Dr. Moen is a wonderful doctor. He is very professional, attentive, and courteous. He knows his business VERY well and I am well at ease having him for a surgeon. I would definitely give him 5 out of 5 stars!!! I wanted to update this after having had my surgery this week. Dr. Moein is an AWESOME doctor. his was the last face I saw before I went under, and the first I saw when I woke. He cares a great deal about his patients. I saw him several times after surgery, and he was truly and honestly concerned for me and how how I was doing. His aftercare program is right on the money, and he will adjust it to better suit your needs. He is both surgically competant, and his bedside manner is second to none. If you are anywhere near Baltimore, or can travel, I STRONGLY suggest Dr. Moeinolmolki and GBMC's Comprehensive Obesity Management Program.

At first I was disspointed that I was \"assigned\" more or less to Dr. Moein. After meeting him my impression quickly changed. He is kind and caring. He explained everything about both the lap band and lap rny and did not push me for a decision (I was on the fence about it all).rnrnIt was at my second visit, while we were discussing my personal goals that we decided the RNY would be the way to go as it would get the weight off much more quickly.rnrnPre-op care was great. THe GBMCOMP is a very structured program and I had no issues with getting everything done and obtianing insurance approval. rnrn

Dr. Moen is very professional and really eager to answer all and any questions you have no matter how \"random\" or \"obvious\" they may be. My surgery date is Jan. 3rd and I couldn't ask for a better surgeon/staff at GBMC to be working with me during this time!

Dr. Moeinolmolki, in my opinion, is fantastic. Great personality. Very caring. Took care of me and my sister. I can't say enough good things about him or his department. They make you feel good and I would recommend them to anyone. The nutritionist is also fantastic. Sloan has alot of experience and seems like she really cares that you do well. Overall, I think I made the best choice in doctors and departments.
