Good morning doctor

I have been suffering from obesity since I was young I am 41 years old now

Dr. V is AWESOME!! He has to be the most patient, and calm doctor I have ever met. When my first surgery was aborted, he called me HIMSELF the next day to check on me, and we must have been on the phone for 30 min. while I asked questions. After my 2nd surgery to get the RNY, I had some complications from a hiatal hernia repair, and he checked on me several times a day. He also is great about explaining things to the family members and using terms they can understand.

Opinion 2 months post op- Dr. V still rocks!! Whenever I have an issue or question and call his office, HE calls me back himself. He still shows great care and concern for his patients.

2 year update...Still love Dr. V! I have had no issues related to surgery (other than the common gall bladder removal).

I have been very impressed with Dr. V. He is very upfront ,takes time to explain everything to you and answers any questions you have. He has a great office staff. They are very helpful and friendly. His aftercare program is structured and helpful.
His surgial expertise is what made me choose him. His bedside manner was a plus. I could not believe how much time he spends with his hospital patients. Great Dr. Great program!

My surgeon is PHENOMINAL!!!! My first impression of him was very professional and caring. He is not just a general surgeon that happens to do WLS. He actually specializes in bariatric and truely cares about his patients. He actually listens when you are talking and doesn't just pretent to listen to questions and concerns. He is very thorough in his initial evaluation with you. His program is extremely structured. He has an 8week pre-op educational classes that you must attend, as well as 8 week post op education that is mandatory as well. One thing that sticks out for me, is that he knows his patients, acutally knows them by something other than a chart number. I would rate him on a scale of 1-100...he would definitly be 150!!
