    Dr. Jesse Lopez, Jr. was born and raised in St Joseph, Missouri. Dr. Lopez received his BA degree in chemistry from William Jewell College in 1984. He then graduated from medical school from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. He then completed his surgical residency at Mid-Western University in Chicago, Illinois.Dr. Lopez is a board certified general surgeon through the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. Dr. Lopez has specialized in the field of Bariatrics and was certified in May of 2005 by Inamed Health to perform the laparoscopic gastric band procedure. Dr. Lopez has performed over 350 of these procedures.

    I knew Dr Lopez was the doctor for me as soon as I met him. His staff was friendly and knowledgable,refered me thru the paperwork and made the process easy. The aftercare was personal with him each time,with counseling and guidance.I resisted More...

    Dr Lopez is a great doc, he is very funny and he puts you at ease. The office staff is wonderful as well. I would give him 10 stars
