Jesse Lopez Bariatric Surgeon D.O.

I knew Dr Lopez was the doctor for me as soon as I met him. His staff was friendly and knowledgable,refered me thru the paperwork and made the process easy. The aftercare was personal with him each time,with counseling and guidance.I resisted some of the advise and finally realized I hadn't suceeded on my own and he knew best. I am so much further in this journey than I would have been. The only thing I can say negative is that he probably didn't make accountable enough, but I guess he knew I would have to make my own decisions to follow the program. I thought Lap Band was the magic wand, but he made me realize it is a tool. I still needed to deal with why I eat and make bad choices. Dr Lopez is a 10 in my book.

Dr Lopez is a great doc, he is very funny and he puts you at ease. The office staff is wonderful as well. I would give him 10 stars

Had my first visit with Dr Lopez today. He's very nice. Spent lots of time with me going over everything. My health, goals and what would be the best in the long run for me and what it would take to get there. Went over my insur. and what they would require and what I would need to do to see this thru. Looking forward to working with the doctor and having him do the surgery.

I attended a seminar almost a year ago given by Dr. Lopez. I was greatly impressed by him and what he had to say. I am hoping that he will be the surgeon that does my lap band surgery.

I've changed to Dr. Lopez and I'm very glad I did. My first impression of the Dr. Lopez is that he really cares about his patients. His staff is great! Tammy and Shelley are the best.

dr lopez is great and very careing. The office staff at his office are wonderful. If intrested in him give me a email will send you his phone number.. he will lay it out for you what need to do and what needs to be done on your behalf and what ithe complictions could be if do not follow what need to do.. I woudl rate him at top of the list for everything... His bedside manner is wonderful... Was very nice to my family answered any questions they had..

I don't think I could ever say enough good about DR. lopez. I love being his patient. His office staff is great and very helpfull. He was very informative about the surgery and addressed the special risks I had due to my medical history and bmi. He is great and I am glad I choose to be his patient.

Dr. Lopez did my lap-band surgery on 10/26/05 and I think he is wonderful. He really seems to be a great patient advocate. He went over the procedure with me and made me feel very at ease about everything. I felt like I had picked a great surgeon with excellent skills. I have not had one complication with this surgery. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Lopez is great. He takes the time to explain everything. He is very friendly and takes the time to get to know his patients before surgery. At each of my follow-up visits he has taken the time to go over my diet plan and has been very supportive. When Dr. Lopez moved to his own office, the transition was a little difficult because it happened very suddenly.

I only meet my surgeon once. I was in the middle about him, when I first meet him. I am now very upset with the situation and most of all with him. He told me about the risks and how the surgery would go. I was told by the hospital my insurance would not be coverd there, a few days before the surgery. I called the Dr. office to let them know. They then told me that I would be able to go to the med center. I have not received a call from them since. I call, approximately, every 2 weeks to see what is going on. I feel as if I will never get this surgery done. I keep being told they are waiting on the med center. Finally, I have called the med center. The med center has as well advised of 2 other Dr. that do the Lap Band surgery. So I am starting all over. THESE are all MY FEELINGS.
