Joshua Steiner Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

Dr. Steiner was very nice. He is young but everything I have read and heard about him has been positive. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They are on the ball when it comes to getting appointments scheduled. I am in the beginning stages and don't see my dietician until Dec 9th, then I will be able to tell more

My first visit I was terrified all other drs treat you like you have the plague because you are obese. When i got there for my visit i was made to feel very comfortable and very human. Everyone there has true compassion for you. They are really there to help u because they want to see u succeed and have a life again. Pre-op and post-op I couldn't have asked for better care from anyone. They are there whenever u need them andd make sure u understand everything completely. They let u know that any question u have is as important as any other. I think Dr. Steiner is one of the kindest and most caring drs. I have ever met. I don't know what I would have done with out him and his staff. Every one is wonderful. I reccomend them highly to anyone. They have my utmost respect and gratitud.

I met Dr. Steiner at the Center's seminar, my first time. I liked him instantly. Over the next 3 months, I was very impressed with his professionalism. He has such a wonderful personality. His staff is wonderful, Melissa, Donna, Karen,Amanda--wonderful people. They really make you feel like we are all part of a family. My surgery was July 25th. I could never have better care and attention, anywhere. Dr Steiner has a wonderful bedside manner. He is so very competent and he makes you feel very safe. He was very honest and open, about my surgery. I can never thank him and the staff, enough. They have given me back a likable life. In a score of 1 to 10, he rates way over 10. Dr. Steiner has given me the best gift, a new lease on life. He is as kind and good to me, today, as he was the day of surgery. I really cannot say anything negative, because there wasn't a negative moment with my experience.

I attended the seminar at St. Joe East. Dr. Nighbert and Dr. Steiner were both there. I am not sure which surgeon I will get to do my surgery, but I was very impressed with both of them. The office staff and program director (Karen) were all extremely nice. The surgeons stayed and answered questions, and were very knowledgable. So far, I am very happy with my choice of going to St. Joe East.<p>I chose Dr. Steiner to be my surgeon. He seems very capable and understanding.<p>Dr. Steiner was WONDERFUL. He was very attentive to my needs, and was not afraid to order other tests to determine my health and safety before and after surgery. He's a 10!!!

I attended a seminar with Dr.Nighbert and Dr. Steiner. I am not sure which one will be my surgeon. However, I was very impressed by both. They seemed to be very professional and understanding of dealing with bariatric sugery.

I scheduled my surgery date and the one that worked with my schedule was when Dr. Nighbert was out of town, so Dr. Steiner will be doing my surgery.

Upon first meeting Dr. Steiner he gave a very warm impression. He gave a feeling of compassion and kindness toward the patients he worked with.
Each time I talked with Dr. Steiner his attitude and actions remained the same. I adore him.
Dr. Steiners office staff was also very helpful and seemed to care about the patients and helping them in any way possible.
I honestly can say that I liked everything about DR. Steiner. I found no negative points to him at all. I am thankful to have found him.
I highly recommend any one in this area looking for a surgeon to visit him first.
Dr. Steiner has a life long support system for his patients so you are never without help and support.
I was fully informed of all the risk of the surgery and all the possible complications from the surgery.
I rate Dr. Steiner on the scale of 1-10 he was a 10 ++ . I can't say enough good things about him.
Dr. Steiner was very competant surgicaly and has a great personality and bedside manner.

<Font face="tahoma"><font size=3><p align="left">I had my first consult with Dr. Josh Steiner in Lexington, Kentucky yesterday and I really liked him. He was kind and compassionate to me and I found him to be very knowledgable concerning this surgery. I had given up on Dr. Geller and had really gotten uncomfortable with him not moving on my case. I am a revision and I got the feeling that since Dr. Geller is new that he just did not know how to proceed with me. So, finally I changed docs. I feel that Dr. Steiner's office staff is very efficient and helpful. They have already called today and gotten started on all my pre op testing. WOW! this was quick. The after care program at The Center for Weight Loss Surgery is great. They do require a lot of you but it is necessary if you are going to suceed at this surgery,. Dr. Steiner did address the risks associated with this surgery. Being a nurse, I do pay a lot of attention to the bedside manner. I hate grumpy doctors but Dr. Steiner has a great personality, smiles a lot, is really caring and i believe his competence is great also. He has lots of training for doing this surgery. Overall, I would rate him about 10 on a 1-10 scale. He is great!! The rest of the staff at the Center for wls if great also. Karen Hillenmyer, the P.A., and Director of the program is one of the most knowledgeable people in this field. And then there's Donna. What can I say? She is just the best office person to work with. She is also a nurse and is very helpful. Amanda, the dieticain(sp) is a wee bit of a girl who has never had a weight problem in her live but she really cares for us and is also very knowing about all our foods and etc.
