Dr. Hobson is excellent from the first meeting very knowledgeable, caring he listens to your concerns..
You don't feel rushed I was very blessed to have him as my surgeon!!:)
I was like most Dr. Duncan was to perform my surgery, but last min went to learn plastic surgery. His replacement couldn't have been a greater man. Dr. Hobson. He was amazing. He made me feel comfortable. He was the funniest handsome chocolate Dr with the best bedside manor. He also did my revision. I had my surgery in 7/07 @419lbs, revision 2/09 @240 in 4/13 I am still maintaing at 190 still aiming for 167lbs. Overall I love Dr. Hobson in I wud recommend him any day. Bless
Dr. Larry Hobson and his entire staff at Peachtree Bariatrics are awesome. You feel the support upon your first visit to the clinic. Dr. Hobson takes time to explain everything in detail so that you have a full understanding of what is going to take place. This is truly a Dr. who cares for his patients. He made me feel confident that I was doing the best for my health and that I was going to safely come through surgery.
What was your first impression of him, Unsure I didn't meet him until the morning of my surgery 02/2005, over time my opinion changed since I had NO COMPLICATIONS, I always enjoyed the office staff.
The competence of the Dr's, the bedside manner of the team and the professional friendliness of the office staff are the reason that I choose the group to do my revision. Thanks, Peachtree Bariatrics

WHEN I FIRST MET DR. HOBSON, HE WAS INFORMATIVE AND HE ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS. I FELT COMFORTABLE WITH HIM CONDUCTING MY SURGERY. THE OFFICE WAS HI TEK AND THE STAFF WAS POLITE AND CURTEOUS...DR DUNCAN IS ALSO A DOCTOR AT PEACHTREE BARIATRICS..
He was amazingly full of information. His attitude toward what the patient wanted was very encouraging. His office staff extremely helpful. Future patients should get all documents, labs, and exams done as quickly as possible so you want be place on a delayed waiting list for which ever procedure you would like to have done. Its mandatory to have aftercare because you signed an agreement to go. The aftercare planned is very structured and easy to follow. He made it known that with any surgery there are risk and began to break them down in more detail fashion. But he was very pleasant about doing so. If I had to give him a number from 1-10 it would be a 10. My doctor came to my beside after surgery and actual stayed with me and my family for 45 mins. answering questions for them since the surgery was over. I would like to comment on the hospital help they were incredible. If I pressed the call button someone was there, needed more pain medications someone was there and all I had to do was ask and they would check for time of last administration, and if I needed to get up to walk someone was there to assist me at my beckon call. How awesome is that? A question was asked if I have any negative comments no none from this happy camper.

3/2010 So far I have only dealt with the office staff, Colleen Bates in particular and she is great as what she does. If you have any problems and need help, she is the go to person.
4/13/2010 Ok, today I finally met my Surgeon Dr.Larry Hobson. All of the good things I heard about him are true. I was just beginning to get the jitters as I am approaching within the two week mark of my surgery. Dr. Hobson's bed side manner was great. He sat and took his time to explain the procedure in his terms, just to make sure I had a complete understanding. He was kind with the words he used to discuss my FAT. My mother tagged along for the visit and she too was put to ease with her concerns. I am confident in the LORD and the skills that He has placed in the hands and mind of Dr. Larry Hobson. I look forward to my day 4/29/10.
