My first impression of Dr. Peters was they he was very professional and cared about his patients. My impression from the pre-surgery to post surgery hasn't changed except that I still think he is a good surgeon. His office staff is is caring, well mannered and very professional. Every thing I have to say about Dr. Peters is positive. If I had any negative thoughts, I would have not kept him as a surgeon. He keeps your informed during and after surgery. When he sees you in the hospital he stops and talks to you to make sure everything is okay and do you need his help. He highly stresses the importance of proper aftercare. All risks of surgery were brought out in the open on several visits. You did not go into surgery blindfolded. Dr. Peters overall rating is A+++. His surgical competence and beside manner are great. I would recommend him to others.

My first impression of Dr. Peters was very friendly, well knowledged about both procedures. He wanted a few more thing done, we had a very long extensive talk about the procedure, so I needed to make up my mind. Dr. Peters wasn't pressuring me about anything, he was a great listener, and understood my feeling and wanted to help me.rnrnMy impression never changed over time at all.rnrnDr. Peters office staff was very professional always, even way before my surgery, all my questions were answered by his office manager. Awesome friendly folks.... rnrnrnrnrn

Dr. Peters was understanding and very easy to talk to. He made me and my wife feel at ease, and let me tell him what I truely wanted. He did express his opinions and they were pretty much what I was expecting. The office staff from the experiances that I have had thus far were hurried and really did not care. Patients must be an advocate for themselves and must stay on top of things. The office staff kind of let things fall through the cracks and do not return calls very well.

I met with Dr. Peters for my initial consultation. My first impression of him was a very positive one. Dr. Peters was very informative and honest. I felt very confident in his knowledge of the procedure and his ability to perform the procedure.

I liked Dr. Peters right away. He really seems to care about how I do.rnrnWhen I was fearful that I wouldn't be able to have the surgery as my A1C (blood sugar level) was a 7.5, he was able to calm my worries and he actually said, \"You will be all right\". Just those few words helped me relax.rnrnBefore surgery when I was nervous again, he was again able to help me with a kind word and a compassionate manner.rnrnWonderful doc, I look forward to working with him in this weight loss journey.rnrnNancy G.

Dr. Peters made a very good 1st impression, both proffessionally and personally. I like to deal with people who have a sense of humor, and he obviously does. My dealings w/ the office staff have all been positive so far as well.

First impression - very cold, clinical. Wanted to let me know I am in for the long haul. Wanted me to be very sure of what I was doing and how this decision would effect the remainder of my life. I am not sure about demeanor, but like that she laid all the cards on the table. She seems to be a straight shooter! Dr. Wynn went out on maternity leave right before my surgery date, so I haven't seen much of her. From what I have seen she is upbeat, supportive, and extremely thorough.

Ended up changing to her partner Dr. Peters for surgery as Dr. Wynn went out on maternity leave. I can't say enough about Dr. Peters. He has been enthusiastic, concerned, and ever so supportive of all I have gone through. He will not hesitate to kick your butt if needed, but he will back you 10,000 percent if needed. I must admit the staff I have worked with at CHRIAS (and it has been many) has been AWESOME!!! I can't say enough - if I talk with people who are interested in the surgery I give them the ph #. I have received this type of care since I left my oroginal family doc (of 28 years) almost 6 years ago.

When I met Dr. Peter's I found him to be very business like (consult). Asking me why I wanted the surgery and then explaining my options and risks of each option. He as very informative and I was pleased with him. I did not see him again until my pre-surgery appt 1 week before my surgery. He was pretty much the same. My surgery went very well and once I had reached this point I found him to be, without a doubt, the most compassionate doctor I have ever had. He is caring and listens. He has a wonderful bedside manner and a refreshing since of humor. Is he the best out there? I don't know, I've not met many in this area of expertise. But I can say this. He was/is the best for me.

My first impression of Mr.Michael Peters Jr. is that he is very handsom. I love to have good looking people around me no matter what their size. He is thin has dark brown hair.
My impression of him has not changed at all. The first time I meet with him I told him that I needed to include my sister Gerogia in the conversation but she was at work at the New York Times in NY. I asked if we could conference her in. He said that he had never used that feature on this new phone and was not sure it even had that feature. I showed him how to work it and we went from there. He made the long distance call and introduced himself to my sister and then he started talking to me and refering to my sister some times in the conversation. He had nothing to hide and I really like that. The office staff is wonderful. Several of the women in the front office have had WLS and are more than happy to talk about it and answer any questions that you may have. I can't say that there is anything I didn't like about him except that he wouldn't do a tummy tuck while he already had me under.:) He has not been doing WLS long however he has been doing lap surgerys for a while and he does surgery with a senior surgeon all the time nothing to be affaid of, I love him. Not just for his good looks either. He does not play when it comes to after care. He wants to see you for any and all reasons. I am not sure if he has structured aftercare other than the norm. No lifting, take vitamins, stuff like that. He went over all the risks of surgery in our first meeting and my post op check-up and before he did surgery. I would give him a 10. He did not give me his cell phone number like I have read that some of the doctors on this site have done for patients however I was not nervous or anything. I was well informed about the surgery before I even went to see him. I was ready for surgery the same day I went to visit him the first day. I feel he has great surgical competence and bedside manner. I still didn't get my tummy tuck :(
