From the moment I met Dr. Sullivan I knew I was in great hands. His care philosophy of patient first and his honesty were my first impression. He met me yesterday morning prior to surgery and again explained everything that would happen. He put my mind at ease. His surgical team were top notch! From the residents to his nurses (especially to Anna who comforted and reassured me through the prep. A wonderful group of people and professionals.Post surgery care was amazing!

My first impression of Dr. Sullivan was when I saw him come out of his office to call a patient in and I thought, man he is young and how lucky I was to be able to seen by someone that will be here longer then me. His staff (Cathy) was very friendly and I found her to be very professional and informative. When it was my turn to go into his office he was very friendly and very professional I felt at ease and comfortable with him I was told exactly what was going to happen during my Scope. He seems to be very compassionate and caring person. He talked me through the procedure it was nice to hear him say" Your doing good Ann" when I was gagging my head off LOL
I am looking forward to having Dr. Sullivan do my surgery this year. I highly recommend him and I rate him 5 stars for sure.

Dr Paul Sullivan is my surgeon. I have never had complications. He recently removed my Gallbladder without incident. I knowsomeone else who had him as their RNY surgeon, again no complications. What more can you ask for.

Dr. Paul Sullivan and his Team at St. Joe's were great. The surgery was (as he put it) textbook with no post op complications. Dr. Sullivan was great to work with and very positive about the entire process. Surg date was ... Valentine's Day! Bring flowers, no chocolate ... all in all was a great experience ... the hospital staff were amazing ... Bernie, Delma and Colleen were exceptional!!

My surgery was on February 8, 2011

Dr Sullivan was very knowledgeable of the surgery and complications. He went over the pros and cons. He asked me if I knew what I was going in for. His secretary was very friendly. I had some pain issues once I went home, I called the office and Dr. Sullivan came and spoke to me personally on the phone. I found him to have a great bed side manner. I would definitely recommend him to my friends.

Dr. Sullivan completed my surgery in September 2010. There was a complication but at no time did i feel i was at risk of danger. His staff, of interns, were incredible at checking on me and explaining what they needed to do and watch. when the team decided to take me in the OR, they were confident and again I did not feel I was risk of danger. When I returned to my room from the emergency OR procedure, I was told I had a blood clot near my lung. Ended up it was serious but the doctor's confidence and disposition put me at ease and also my husband. After each procedure, Dr. Sullivan spoke with my husband and explained everything. The initial one, my hubby was in hospital, however the second was more of an emergency, so Dr. Sullivan took it upon himself to call my husband on his cell phone as he made his way to the hospital.
I have the utmost respect for Dr. Sullivan. He has been thorough, understanding and knowledgeable. He gives you the time to ask questions and never appears to be in a hurry. I am looking forward to seeing him in April at my seven month follow up.

Dr. Sullivan was an amazing Dr. the first time my Hubby and I met him in March 2010, he went over all the options for WLS, showed up pictures, gave us full explanations and consequences of each type, answered all of our questions and never made us feel rushed.
The staff in the office were super friendly and very helpful.
He was a very down to earth Dr. and did not speak over our heads, everything was explained in plain English and not medical terms, that we may not understand.
His bed side manner both pre~op and post~op was amazing.
The follow up care has been great !
I would definatly give him a 10 on both surgery competence and bedside manner ! I am 100% satisfied and have nothing negative to say about him or the follow up care.
