Raymond Taddeucci Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

It has been a year since my surgery. I am very thankful that I had the sleeve procedure. Dr Taddeucci advised this over the LAP Band and I'm so thankful. I was one that had to spend a couple days in the hospital. Just not in one day and out the next. That first week, wow. I was not sure I had done the right thing. But after speaking to his staff, they helped me with a couple problems. He is very kind and is always positive about your progress. Over the past year he has told me where and what I need to do. How well I've completed my goals and great feedback. His staff has been there for all my needs. If this was easy, everybody would do it and you wouldn't have to go through all these steps to get to the post surgery. He spoke about the risks of my surgery prior and since he has spoke to me about staying on track. Just because you have it done, does not guarantee that you will keep it off. It is work even now. I've lost almost 75 pounds in a year. This is not for everyone and yet even though I've done well. I've decided that a few things even at a year I still have to be very aware of. I'm a grazer and I have to just not have certain things in my reach. I try to concentrate on my protein count each day and excerise. I have learned that it is very easy yet to fall off the counting or work outs. And that this is a life long journey. But I'm on that journey with the help of Taddeucci and staff. I can get up and out. I feel so much better and look great. My health is so much better and I've been taken off certain meds and or changes in med's. For the first time in a year, I can go into the regular size clothing and find something. I'm not over winded when walking and doing things. I have energy to spend time with my grandkids. My one goal was to have my grandkids be able to sit on my lap and not slide off or feel they couldn't wrap their arms around me. They all can do both and it is all worth it. Remember this is a life changing event for you and your family. You must have support from everyone. My family has been there along with the staff at Dr. Taddeucci. My friends have followed and have been great about my reduced or food intake. They all understand that I pack proteins and can just about adapt to any situation for social meetings. It takes time and some trials and errors. But you will learn.
Please go speak to Dr Taddeucci and staff, go to the meetings and learn prior to doing this. Your aftercare for yourself is the key to success. You can have the surgery, but if you don't follow their plan and listen to them. It will all be for nothing. LIFE CHANGING is forever. I'm grateful and thank the good Lord for helping me along this journey. Good Luck

I first met Dr. Taddeucci last fall for a consultation regarding weight loss surgery. Dr. Taddeucci was very professional, informative, and personable. He explained all three procedures with me and gave me answers to every question I had. I decide on the vertical sleeve procedure and have been very happy with my decision. Dr. Taddeucci and his office staff and nurse Christy, have been very supportive. There were many before surgery steps needed to be done to be sure I was mentally and physically ready to have the surgery a d to follow through on what I needed to do after to be successful. His office encouraged me to call at anytime with any questions or concerns. They had follow-up appointments at one month, then three, six, nine, and at a year. Then yearly for five years after surgery. I had my one year appointment yesterday, Feb. 20, 2014. Dr. Taddeucci and Christy were still encouraging and helpful. Again, I was encouraged to call if any questions or concerns come up. I would recommend Dr. Taddeucci and his office at Surgical Associates PC-Bariatrics Division in Lincoln, NE. Yes, there were some things that weren't perfect, but all were acceptable to me and not something I would stress about. I had a wonderful experience and lost 110 pounds in that year! Thank you Dr. Taddeucci and staff!!!

I think dr Taddeucci was right on track when he recommended the gastric sleeve surgery! He and his staff did a fabulous job from beginning to end.scarring was very limited.I had very little discomfort,and I have lost a substantial amount of weight and feel fantastic.Thank you to Dr T! and his staff.

My first impression of Dr. Taddeucci was very kind and knowledgeable. He told me what he thought would work best for me. He explained the procedure and why he thought it would work for me. He has been very supportive.
The nurses and office staff have been very kind and always willing to answer whatever questions I have. They have been concerned about my weight loss progress and whether or not I am in a support group.

He told me the risks of surgery. His bedside manner and surgical competence have been outstanding. I would recommend him.

I first saw Dr. Taddeucci at a seminar at the hospital. I thought he looked like a 12 year old, but seemed to really know his stuff. I really think he is fabulous. He answered all my questions and I felt really comfortable around him. His staff is awesome, especially his nurse, Jackie. She always gets back to me right away when I have a question and I never had a problem getting an appointment with them. His bedside manner was good, but he always seems really serious. I'm a joking kind of person, and he doesn't seem to be at all. Jackie really spent more time with me than Dr. Taddeucci did but he did an excellent job with the surgery and came right out to talk to my husband when I was done. The aftercare is well laid out before you have surgery with when you'll have appointments and your fills and what your insurance covers and doesn't. I would recommend Dr. Taddeucci to anyone.

I first met Dr. Taddeucci at my initial weight loss surgery seminar. It was right then that I realized it was him that I wanted to do my surgery. He knew the surgery procedures well, and was not afraid to answer all the questions open and honestly. He really seemed to care about everybody in the room. My impression of Dr. Taddeucci over time, only got better. I made my apt for the initial consultation, and still felt very confident in my choice of him as a surgeon. The first apt took about 2 hours because he was so detailed in explaining the pros and cons of having the surgery. He answered all of my questions in detail. His nurse Jackie was the same way. She was very detailed and took her time at explaining what was to happen next and what to expect. Dr. Taddeucci and Jackie make a great team and I highly recommend them to anybody. I also highly recommend St Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. They have a beautiful facility and all of their rooms are private. All of the staff there on the bariatric team are absolutely wonderful! They devote their full attention to each patient, and they are always right there when you need them. They have also insisted that I call them at anytime no matter what I need, either preop or post op. In addition to that, they also stay in touch with me. I had two phone calls from the hospital yesterday just checking to see how I was doing and to see if there was anything I needed. They are the best! I would rate Dr. Taddeucci and his staff as a 10, and would recommend them to anybody. I honestly don't think that the care I receive could be any better at any time.

Dr Taddeucci was great throughout the whole process. He gave me plenty of information and answered all my questions. The office staff is great,always friendly and available.

I love Dr. Taddeucci! He is very personable and his staff has been wonderful! He really seems to understand how it feels to be overweight and frustrated. He answered all of my questions. I have absolutely nothing negative to say!

Really liked him, the nurse warned me that he looked real young but he compensated with his manner. The nurse, Jaque, was a real sweetheart and let me know more than I even wanted.
