Dr. Bonnor explained to me in great detail what procedures were available to me, including the possible risks and side effects. He and his office staff were very professional and courteous. The surgery itself was easier to handle than I had anticipated. The recovery time was minimal and I was back at work in ten days with few restrictions. I have since lost 120 pounds and have kept it off. I look and feel great. I would recommend bariatric surgery for anyone who wants to improve their quality of life through weight loss.

Dr. Bonnor has been an inspiration. From the moment that I met him he has been warm, encouraging, and supportive. The preliminary requirements for my Gastric Sleeve procedure were not as difficult as I anticipated. The day of surgery went extremely well. The hospital staff could not have been more wonderful. I was given good instruction on what I could and could not do after the procedure. Up to this point I have lost close to 90 pounds and anticipate losing around another 90. I sleep better, move faster, and feel MUCH better about myself! THANK YOU DR. BONNOR!!

I had VSG surgery. The office staff was great in preparing the requirements and submitting them to my insurance company. The approval came in 24 hours after submittal! The surgery was very smooth. My thanks to Dr. Bonnor and the hospital staff for making it such an easy process. I had minimal pain and was well taken care of. I had all the information I needed to prepare for the operation and plenty of info on the diet to follow. I recommend Dr. Bonnor to anyone considering weight loss surgery. He laid out the options clearly and helped me choose the right procedure.

Dr. Bonner and his staff are professional and friendly. All of my questions were answered. I liked that Dr. Bonner was straight forward. He informed me of all risks involved and side effects that I should expect, helping me make a decision about which weight loss surgery was best for me. I feel that his surgical competence is superior. I am so pleased with the results that I have brought my 22 yo daughter to Dr. Bonner for care so that she may have the chance at a more active and happy life, like I am having.

Dr Bonnor and his staff are so wonderful. Throughout the process they were sympathetic and always willing to listen or give advice. I had the gastric sleeve surgery and Dr Bonnor did an amazing job. I have had zero complications and within 3 months lost over 50 pounds. Before the surgery I was very nervous but he helped keep me calm and assured me everything would be great.

I had inquired about Memorial Herman New start Program after I had initially found that the prior doctor I had selected was out of my network. So I after going online to get more information about Memorial’s New Start program I was quickly contacted by Semaki Cooke (who was very insightful) After explaining my situation Sam had referred me to Dr. Ricardo Bonnor. Yes, I hesitated at first, but then it dawn on me Memorial Herman is a very respectable hospital who only have exemplary surgeons.

Dr. Bonnor ‘s staff (the girls) are down to earth and totally awesome! They had the steps and list of things I needed to obtain for them to get my surgery approved (which was very quick – if you get them what they need to send to the insurance.) Every time I went my appointment it seem as if I saw old friends.. (That’s how comfortable they made me feel –being I don’t like going to the doctor and especially hospitals lol)

What to say about Dr. Ricardo M Bonnor –he is an ingenious surgeon who has discipline, drive, determination which has leaded him to be (in my opinion) one of the favorites among his peers. The reason I say this is that I asked about him while in the hospital ( Well he knows now lol) and all I kept hearing was praised among the colleagues at Memorial and other patients as well. I will say he is obviously respected and being that he looks young doesn’t take away his expertise in this field(I pre-judged and he proved me wrong which i was very glad he did with the excellent surgery he performed). While in the hospital I notice when the nurse had to check with Dr. Bonnor on something they got right back to me very quickly there the nurses seems to be able to reach him easily (which I loved that !!) Yes Dr.Bonnor did visit with me giving me a briefing of what the game plan was after. I never had any complications and my incisions were well done no pain after going home. I felt so good to start working out sooner than I would of expected which was just awesome... (Because I did exactly what he told me – very important to listen to the doctor)

When i first came to doctor Bonnor I had read reviews and also i did my research on him . I Knew he was one of the few doctors in houston area that did the doudenal swicth so thats why i choose his clinic. When i first came to the clinic and saw him i thought he was young and was afraid that maybe he had too little of experience. But after talking to him he actually explain how everthing was going to work out. I relize how experience he was and the best thing that really had me was that he said if i dont think i could do the whole surgery i will only do part of it because i dont want to risk your health doing it all at once. That right there maybe feel like Dr. Bonnor had the best interest in his patients and i made my choice. His staff has also been really helpful in the whole process making sure that my insurance was approve to getting my appointments taking care of. At the hospital Dr. bonnor made sure that i was 100% ready before i was release which made me feel great that my health was his priority. I truly am happy i made the choice that i made with Dr. Bonnor help.
