I had gastric bypass about a year ago and it completely changed my life. It was a hard decision but I can happily say that it was the best decision I have made in regards to my health. Dr. Bonnor and his staff have been incredible from the start and continue to help me with anything I need or have questions about. I would recommend Dr. Bonnor to anyone considering weight loss surgery. In my case, I needed the bypass for several heath issues including reflux and diabetes, just to name a couple. I can happily say I no longer take any medicines for those issues. I feel like I have a new lease on life where I am able to enjoy my grandkids and do things I would never been able to do before making this change.

I had the best experience with Dr. Bonnor & his staff! Before choosing Dr. Bonnor as my Surgeon, I did my research, and had several consultations. Dr. Bonnor was my first choice! He is honest, opinionated, knowledgable & super realistic. I needed that! When I began my journey January 2013 I weighed 370 lbs... OMG I was desperate for a change. Dr. Bonnors staff was way helpful guiding me through the insurance process, and it was a breeze. My surgery date was 8/20/13, I was literally back to work in 10 days, but back to normal in two full weeks. Three months out of Surgery, my current weight is 298lbs and losing. I feel great & I'm 100% happy with my results.

Choosing Dr. Bonnor as my professional for the surgery I had was an excellent choice for me. He and his staff are second to none when it came to my pre-surgery, surgery and post surgery care and when it came to communicating what they needed from me and what I could expect from them. He is a very positive person and made it easy for me to understand the procedure right for me. All of my expectations were met regarding the knowledge I needed associated with my surgery. I cant thank Dr. Bonnor enough he is amazing from the 1st day I stepped into his office. Every question I had he explained it in terms I could understand also any questions I couldn't think of he explained. So far 4 months out I am 53 lbs down and 4 pants sizes down and I owe to Dr. Bonnor. He was amazing in the actual procedure the surgery was a success. Dr. Bonnor explained to me in great detail what procedures were available to me, including the possible risks and side effects. He and his office staff were very professional and courteous. The surgery itself was easier to handle than I had anticipated. The recovery time was minimal and I was back at work in ten days with few restrictions. I have since lost 120 pounds and have kept it off. I look and feel great. I would recommend bariatric surgery for anyone who wants to improve their quality of life through weight loss.
