I have been interested in Bariatric Surgery. I heard there is a terrific group in New Hyde Park. I will be attending one of their free seminars.

I love this office! the girls at the front desk are nice, the PA is so sweet, and Dr Garber is amazing. I feel like i'm in the best hands and I am so happy to have picked this practice. I looked elsewhere, but no other doctor or practice had the experience or expertise that the New York Bariatric Group has.

Dr Holover and the entire office staff have been wonderful. The support group meetings led by Dr. Garber and Dr. Holover have also been so helpful in getting me ready for my upcoming surgery.

Dr. Holover is the most patient doctor I've ever dealt with.(and best looking too!) He answers & explains everything thoroughly. The office staff is also very pleasant & efficient. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

almost 4 years later I am still a family member to Dr. Holover and Dr. Garber, Stephanie,Donna,Sharon, Jean ..it does not get better than NY Bariatric or its STAFF

Dr. Holover and his staff are wonderful, along with everyone at Mercy Hospital, where the surgery was performed. He and his physician's assistant covered all the risks, etc. He's got a great bedside manner and is 100% competent. I would recommend Dr. Holover without any hesitation whatsoever.

When I first met Dr. Holover, I was surprised to see how young and good looking he was. Dr. Holover, was very down to earth and easily related to me. From the moment I walked into the office to this day, I was treated with respect and care. Dr. Holover really listened to me and even though I felt I was very informed on the entire process of surgery he went over everything with me. Dr. Holover, even helped me by squeezing me in on a day when he was booked to fit into my schedule. I have never had anyone in the medical field work with me as much as his office has. The only negative thing I can say about my experience is while I was visiting the support group for patients who already had surgery, there was no time period dedicated to answering questions from the visitors. Other then that I haven't had one problem!

Dr. Holover seemed very aloof during my first consultation. I guess I can understand this though, I'm sure he sees a lot of people only once.

I am well on my way to surgery. I have finished all of my pre-op clearances and have a tentative surgery date. I can't wait.
