Ted Scott Bariatric Surgeon M.D.
I need to get a copy of his procedure and have tried. I need a revision. I have tried to find somone but no luck. It was stylistic ring with stapling. I tried to contact him. Maybe someone who has had this procedure could contact me or someone could give me the name of a MD that does the revision.
Please

P.s Maybe some other pt of Dr Scott has the book that shows the diagram of the procedure. Or knows someone who does the revision.
I personally did not like his staff it was a money game push push push then the staples come undone and foods goes both ways. Wt gain back.

I liked Dr. Scott from the beginning. His office staff was wonderful and I believe they are the reason my surgery was approved. I'd give him a rating of an 8. After the surgery I never heard from him again. He is no longer practicing in Lubbock, Texas that I am aware of. I think surgical competance is important but beside manner can only help. I would do everything all over again. Don't ask me about my hospital stay. Thats a whole new story.
Seemed passionate about wanting to help me.
My only drawback to Dr. Scott is he is no longer doing this surgery and had moved from Texas to Missouri; therefore, I have no follow-ups or support.

Sometime he seemed rushed.
He did, but as I've already stated, he's no longer in practice for this type of surgery.
Yes, a definite one and he expected his patients to follow it.
Upfront about the risks involved.
Scale of 1-10.....9+
Couldn't have asked for anything better.
My first impression of Dr. Scott wasn't the best. He was quiet and didn't appear to be very friendly. He did, however, answer all of my questions. After talking to others who had their surgeries with him, I feel that he is very good at what he does which is more important than bedside manner. He has left Lubbock for Missouri so if anyone in Missoure is considering him as a surgeon for this, I would recommend him. His staff is the best.
My first impression of him wasnt a very good one. He seemed quite dry and unfeeling. My impression of him did change some. He did a great job surgically but his bedside manner left alot to be desired. My family wasnt to taken with him either. He didnt empasize aftercare too much, his office does offer a support group if you live in the area. He doesnt give much information. His answers to my questions were quite cut and dry. I would recommend him as a surgeon, but dont expect to much in the beside manner area. His staff was quite friendly during my visits to the office.
Dr. Scott was very polite, and professional in every way; he was also very helpful when deciding on what I needed to have done. the staff in his office were very caring and interested in making sure that every T was crossed and I's dotted when sending off the insurance formes for approval. I would tell anyone interested in this surgery that Dr. Scott is the one to see.
