Todd Patrick Penner Bariatric Surgeon

Dr Penner from TWH was amazing and very knowledgeable. I had my barbaric surgery done on Mar 2 2015 and have lost an access of 190 lbs. I'm now searching for a plastic surgeon who can lift my thighs butt and breasts.

Dr Penner was extremely patient and very knowledgable. He made me feel extremely calm and secure in our decisions. After the surgery he came to talk to me and he didn't make me feel rushed as most surgeons can. He stayed and talked to me to make sure that I was fine with the changes and discussed any questions that I had. He explained how the surgery went and what I could expect as a result of the surgery! I would recommend Dr Penner to any and everyone! Thank you for helping me change my life!

A great experience with my surgeon and his team! Toronto Western Hospital in Toronto Ontario Canada has the most fantastic Bariatrics Deptartment in the Greater Toronto Area. Every appointment and right up to the time I was taken into the O.R., the nurses that helped during my stay on the 9th floor was an excellent experience!

My 5 Star rating is for the entire bariatric team at Toronto Western Hospital. I am 4 Days post op and feeling awesome. I have followed the pre-op program and post instructions to the letter of the law and that has made all the difference. Doctor Penner and the surgerical team were incredible. Their bedside manner and natural caring approach made the first class technical work they did even better. I did this surgery to change my life and to add longevitey for myself but more importantly for my wife and children. I have a heartfelt debt of eternal gratitude to all the doctors and nurses who participated in my surgery and post recovery, and to the team at TWH Bariatric program for giving my family the greatest gift. Dr Penner, He is a real nice surgeon and very friendly guy, he is very as a matter a fact . I like him, I look at him as my life line....He is a great surgeon...post-op I feel even more he is a great surgeon and very talented. I think the best but I may be bios. cause he saved my life... here is what I wrote him today after 2 weeks out.I do not kow how to thank you enouph for the great job you did for me. I think you are a very talented surgeon and a very nice person. words can never express the thanks I have for your great work. I for the first time in my life have lost a total of 30 pounds. and you gave me this chance when others were not sure they should.
I also am off all insulin as my surgars do not move at this time out the 5-6 range unless i stress then i take 10 u of lantise . that is a huge difference in my world from 300u a day. my creatine for the first time has dropped under 230/ I know i am on my way to a healthier life.
