I was put at ease the first time I walked in to Dr Gonzalez' office by the staff. I had already "interviewed" 3 other doctors, not completely comfortable with any of them. Then I met Dr G. He's soft spoken & consistant. He actually LISTENS to you! Great on communicating his answers as well.
My surgery (gastric sleeve) went well with no complications at Forest Park Hospital. It's very modern & the care was excellent. Family & visitors were very comfortable as well. Stayed 2 nights & didn't want to leave!
Dr Gonzalez stresses the importance of post surgery care- lifestyle change isn't easy. I was so pleasantly surprised about how accessible Dr G & his staff were/are well after I healed from surgery. They truly care & are geniunly commited to improving the quality of life for their patients. I'm living proof!!!

Dr. Gonzalez is an excellent physician. He spends time with his patients and is very compassionate and professional. Dr. Gonzalez explains the procedure and what is expected of during aftercare. His staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Renee and Martha have worked endlessly to provide excellent service and information to me. I would recommend Dr. G to any one looking for a weight loss surgeon.
Dr. G was an amazing surgeon! He not only did an amazing job on the surgery but he really did all he could to be there for me before and after the surgery. After the surgery he gave me a direct line to contact him for any reason. He was there every step of the way!
I hope y'all have someone as great as Dr. G!
He is a very learned man. Dr. Gonzalez will walk you thru everything that he will do to help you. He stresses After Care and compliance. He also informs his patients to sign up on line with REALIZEMYSUCCESS.COM This program ties into his office so that he can monitor your progess and give you any advice to help you reach your goals. He has such an excellent bedside manner. He has to be the most patient Doctor that I know. There are no stupid questions with him. ONE OF THE BEST PHYSICIANS ON THIS EARTH.

Dr. Gonzalez is awesome. He spent alot of times answering my questions. He was very kind and very honest. He is very personable. He wants his patients to do the surgery that is best for the patient and thier lifestyle and health needs. I am very excited about my banding and I feel safe in his care. He has an extensive background in baratrics. Also, he staff is very efficient. I appreciate how I feel like they know me when I call and they also call me to see how I am progressing in the process of getting ready for surgery.
I love Dr.G!! He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He has a gerat sense of humour, but he can be strict and call you on your BS. He took very good care of me, and called in a specialist as soon as my liver tests came back abnormal. I wouldn't change doctors for a million bucks, because this one gave me my life back.
