Dr. Weaver is a Rock-Star. She is caring, and helps guide you through the whole process. Professional all the way. If you live in the western Tennessee area, don't use anyone else.

I was first a patient of Dr. George Woodman and I would not ever go back again for another visit. I have been a nurse for seventeen years and have never seen such aweful bedside manners in my whole nursing career. This doctor sets all his patients up for failure by demeaning you at every visit. My appointment with Dr. Weaver is in September 2012 and I hope that all the prior patients of Dr. Woodman are correct in that she is professional and there to actually help. Dr. Woodman needs a psychiatrist in the worse way or he will some day loose his practice if reported to the board of bariatric medicine.

Dr. Weaver is the BEST. The care and compassion she has for her patients is unrivaled. She did my surgery and then a few years later, my mother’s. She is awesome and I miss her. If all doctors were like her the world would be a healthier place. =))

I had Surgery in Nov 07 by George Woodman and didn't do so well and didn't go see him for over a yr because everytime I went there I felt worst about myself than I ever did before!!! I saw Dr Weaver for the 1st time on Nov 10th,2009 and I just love her. She is totally different from him. She is willing to do what it takes to help you and provide tools to help you loose weight not just throw you to the wolves!!!

I had my surgery with Dr. Woodman and stuck it out with him for 8 months. He's very rude and talked down to me at almost every visit. I have been stressed out every time I go to see him because he's so rude. Therefore I decided to change to Dr. Weaver. I have not had my appointment with her yet so I can't speak about her until I have.

My first impression was \"here is a really sweetheart of a lady who has confidence in what she does for a living and loves helping people. rnrnI was one of the few people that had severe anemia and ended up having two units of blood and she was right there with the bedside manner of friend you have known for life. rnrnI can not say enough about Dr. Weaver. I would not ever think of trying another doctor. She is the best.

My contact with Dr. Weaver has been positive. She seems to be concerned and knowledgeable. I am pleased with her so far. rnrnThe volume of patients needing her attention makes it hard to fell very much like you are getting one on one attention from her, but that is understandable due to the amount of patients she is trying to serve. rnrnShe was professional in every way during and after my surgery

Dr. Virginia McGrath-Weaver seems to be wonderful. She is very nice and listens to your concerns. I have had my surgery and I can only say good things about her. Her staff is among the best in the country, I guess you have to be when you work for the best surgeon around. Had my RNY on 02/03/09 and was home on 02/05/09 with no problems.

Dr. Weaver actually cares about her patients. She is very capable and humble, an unusual combination for a surgeon. The office staff are there to help you and go above and beyond to do so, especially Jennette.
