Dr. Ache and team were amazing. This could not have gone better! My surgery was 12/22/14, out of hospital 12/23, off pain ball 12/24, and no more pain meds by 12/ 25, which were hardly needed anyway due to the pain ball, I requested stronger pain meds to go home from the hospital, stronger than what she had prescribed, fearing that I would be in a bad place over Christmas with everyone on vacation, and she wrote me a stronger script. I didn't need them. I didn't even need what she'd originally prescribed. I was literally a bit sore, but no pain. Of course getting in and out of bed was a challenge to keep pain to a minimum, but other than that, there was no pain, only mild discomfort. Additionally, the team at Suncoast Bariatrics was extremely calming, very attentive, and returned my calls quickly when I had concerns leading up to surgery. I understand everyone has a different pain threshold, but if pain is what is keeping you from having this surgery, don't let it. Get the pain ball and it will be easier for you. I am two weeks post surgery and have lost 29 pounds, am never hungry, and actually enjoy the protein shakes. Thanks, Dr. Ache and team, for an amazing journey! Here's to a beautiful 2015!

Dr. Ache (pron. ahkee) works closely with Dr. Jessee in St. Pete. She is a well qualified professional that I trust completely. I have met with her several times pre and post op, and she helped with my surgery. She has done a fill for me, and has always been informative and friendly.

My husband also had surgery at Suncoast Bariatric, and he really likes and trusts Dr. Ache too.
