I was treated with the best care ever given to me at any hospital. I will always use this facilty for all of my medical needs.

I entered the hospital and checked in. My son was with me and would wait for me throughout the surgery. He was given a timer that would let him know where I was throughout the process. From the time I was waiting to go into surgery until I was being wheeled to my room.

I was given a private room and my son was allowed to stay with me throughout the night on the fold out couch. Since he didn't want to leave me alone, I thought that was wonderful for the hospital to provide that accommodation.

The nurses and staff could not have been more caring and helpful. Overall if I had to have surgery again, I would want to have it at Emory Crawford Long Hospital.

A little slow in getting pain meds to me but otherwise they were great.

The nurses were short handed and sometimes I could have felt a little neglected. I did everything on my own. But I know they did their best. They were very kind to me.
