Dr.Scott's WLS patients stay on the 6th floor- The Palatine Suites (which is like a VIP floor with hardwood floors and double suite rooms with a lower nurse to patient ratio, so you receive more one on one care).

Floyd Medical center's staff is so nice and ver sensitive to the needs of their WLS patient's. I felt so comfortable and my family was able to stay with me ever step of the way. My nursing staff were WONDERFUL and I appreciate everyone one of them. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me.

The rooms were awesome and I felt that I was a guest and not a patient there. I also liked how they fed and bedded a family member as well while I was there.

Nursing staff was wonderful. Private section for bariatric patients. Way above average care for patients.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! Rome has got a great Center of Excellence Bariatric program. You are treated like a "queen for a day."

Dr. Ryland Scott insists all his bariatric patients get upgraded to the hospital's luxury suites. Aside from a nicer room and great food for your family (filet mignon), this means you always get the same hand-picked nurses that Dr. Scott's used and trained. The nurse to patient ration is also smaller. Finally, it seems like at other hospitals, the staff are always waking you up throughout the night to do different things that could easily be done all at once. Here they wake you up once to get your life signs, give you your meds, check your dressings etc. Dr. Scott has very high standards and a positive approach, so everyone hussles to do their best.

Floyd does a wonderful job with their bariatrics patients. From the coordinators at the hospital to the amazing Palitines Suites & curitous, everything was Excellent!
