As a RN and a patient I have had plenty of Hospital experience, including a 7 day stay in a different local facility earlier this year. Fair Oaks is GREAT! The facility was well staffed, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, I was very impressed

I would highly recommend Fair Oaks staff and facility to anyone looking for a comfortable place to have surgery. It was quite a haul (25 miles) from my house, but I would definitely go there again for elective surgery.

Many of the nurses assigned to the bariatric floor have had WLS and are wonderfully supportive. The noise level at night was pretty bad due to the particular night nurse but that was an individual. I loved that they allowed my husband to stay overnights with me and the nurses always found him a recliner for sleeping next to my bed.

I think Fair Oaks did a good job. They had a special bed for me that was optimal after surgery.

As with any hospital it is hard to get any rest because you are checked on every few hours. The only bad thing about the hospital was bad parking for my vistors

They allowed a very noisy child in that was the only slight complaint I had.

I genuinely like Fair Oaks. It is not so large as to be easy to get lost in. My only complaint is that they need to build a parking structure, not more spaces (ie. closer to the hospital, not the South 40).
