John Warner Hospital Hospital
Staff was very attentive and professional. The small size of the hospital seems to make it a friendlier environment in general. I waqs very happy with my experience there.
Small hospital that really focuses on the patient. Very accomodating. Great hospital, I can't praise them enough.
most of the staff was pleasant, there was horrible nurses the last night i was there, they let my doctor know that i need to do more for myself after having open roux-en-y done 3 days prior and not being able to bend over while on the toilet to pull up my pajama bottoms. This after being dropped after surgery on the floor
I was leary at first when I had my pre-ops done and seen what a tiny hospital it is, but I also realized that with a small hospital there is a smaller patient/staff ratio loads. I was impressed....and would recommended the hospital to anyone who had any doubts. They stayed on top of the pain control and answered my call light even when I fell asleep several times and accidently pushed it. The nurses were curteous and kind and helped you in anyway that you needed.
I thought the accommodations were fine. I was only in the hospital for 4 days if you count the day I went home. Visiting hours seemed quite liberal. I had inquired ahead of time and knew tht there were no accommodations for family to stay over night and made my arrangements accordingly. I loved the large recliner with the automatic lift and recline to help you get from sitting to standing and standing to sitting again. You really need to be up and moving around so the bed was not that important. and a hospital bed is just that a hospital bed.
