The Bariatric staff is wonderful. The Fremont Hospital is beautiful and everyone I met was excellent, however, there is always one bad apple in the bunch. Not sure her name, she was not assigned to me to follow my care, but she did come in and was the most rudest person in the world. I was so tired and trying to sleep and she told me to deep breathe so the machine would not beep, told her I needed my cpap and with it I am sorry but I sleep deep, she was rude and uncaring and told me deal with out it. I started crying and had a panic attack, I could not breathe and it took 10 minutes for me to catch my breathe, she didn't even try to help me.....scary..my regular nurse came in and calmed me down, and put the silent alarmed on, that is how it ended. Made sure I informed my doctor in the morning.

Dr. Dutta is an excellent surgeon! I was 466 pounds and he was able to do my RNY surgery laporisopcally with no complications. He is very personable and energetic and always there to answer any questions.

Dr. Dutta is a wonderful doctor. He's very informative and answers all your questions. I really have no compliants. The staff there at Fremont are the best. They all really care about you as a person. As far as after care, they make sure you are doing all that they tell you to do. It's very important and they stress Protein and excercise. The only negative thing I can say about my stay in the hospital is that I didn't get a pitcher of water until the morning I was leaving. Not that I could drink that much anyways. But other than that I had a great experience.

My first impression was wonderful. I think he is no nonsense and very straighforward about this surgery. I spoke briefly with him one on one today and was very comfortable with him. I think time will only make things better. I found out today, 12-17, that I will actually be having surgery with Dr. Hahn in Fremont with either Dr. Dennen or Dr. Dutta assisting. This is fine with me, Dr. Hahn was extemely nice and didn't leave me feeling uneasy at all. Dr. Hahn is specifically trained in laprascopic surgeries so that makes me feel a bit better.

the doctor was very informative and answered every question I had. the office staff was very accomadating with appointment changes and the whole experience so far has been a challange and a new beginning.
the doctor made it a point to tell me about other patient complications so if he had to change the type of surgery he was doing, it was because of my safety. He did stress taking time to heal and follow instructions to ensure my success long term.
I am looking forward to having my surgery done wih great care. He is rated a 10 with me.

I really can't say enough about Kaiser Fremont. The hospital was very clean and comfortable (it's not often that the hallways are carpeted!) The staff was wonderful, although I did have one nurse who I wasn't extremely comfortable with, maybe due to different gender. Rather than coming in at different times to take blood pressure, blood tests, temperatures, medications, etc., they really made sure you were able to get what you needed with your rest being the most important. I was very happy with everything about this hospital. Please feel free to contact me via e-mail with any other questions!

Dr. Dutta is fabulous. When I first got my approval letter, I checked out his website and wanted him as my surgeon. He was very nice, answered every question I had, and just generally a great person. Not only did my surgery go well, but Dr. Dutta has a wonderful bedside manner. He called me the day after I got home to check on me. I truly consider myself very lucky to have him as my surgeon.

WELL DR DENNEN IS VERY INFORMATIVE AND HIS AFTER CARE IS WHAT HE REALLY PUSHES. WHICH I THINK IS GOOD. I HAVE SEEN HIM 3 TIMES ALREADY AND I HAVENT EVEN HAD MY SURGERY YET
SO THAT MAKE ME FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE WITH HIM. HE LETS YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHATS GOING ON AND HAS LOTS OF COMMUNICATION WITH ME. I WILL LET YOU KNOW MORE AFTER SURGERY.

Dr. Dennen is awesome. I love his down to earth approach and he seems very in tune and sympathetic to my plight!
