They were super during my stay - nurses, doctors even Lee the guy who brought me my food was awesome!

The bariatric surgery program offered my MeritCare is extremely thorough. The support is unbelieveable. I had a really good experience from the moment I came in through admissions to the afternoon I was discharged. Excellent staff, excellent nursing care--very attentive, polite and respectful.

A very good hopsital, only complaint was my room was close enough to the helipad that my bed a little vibrate when the chopper landed.

All private rooms/bathrooms. That was wonderful. Couldnt imagine having to share a room. Nurses were attentive to my needs. Didnt need the really oversized equipment or pj's

A well working corporation. I LOVE the way they bill patients. I get no bill until after insurance has settled with the hospital.
The staff were concerned with my physical well-being AND emotional well-being.
Everyone was WONDERFUL!

The staff up on the nursing floor was not all trained on gastric bypass and a CNA didn't know where my gall bladder was. Attention during the night was bad, I would be pacing the hallways due to the hyperness the pain medications gave me and they didn't want to talk to me. When I was discharged, they brought out a regular sized wheelchair which was too small for me, and then made a big deal of ordering a big wheelchair for my escort out which took a long time to come. There were some staff that were very nice and a CNA that had the surgery, she should have been assigned to me all the time. It sure helped to have her there.
