I can not say enough about the Bariatric team on the Bariatric floor-they were all wonderful and attentive to my needs. These ladies were the best and made my hospital stay and experience there a key piece of my recovery. Thank you all!!

Moore Regional is a Center of Bariatric Excellence for Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC. After I had my Gastric By Pass surgery I was moved to a floor that accomidates bariatric surgery patients. The nurses on this floor specialize in taking care of bariatric patients and are awesome. The hospital itself is very clean and well kept. I would suggest the hospital for any type of care needed.

I really appreciated how the staff treated me. Some hospital don't treat patients well, but Moore Regional treated me like they really cared.

The only thing that I had issues with is the food was so bad after surgery. The thick stuff they mix with the purreed food was awful.

everything surgery related was fine post op. my pre-op iv nurse was horrible! once I got onto the main floor my nurses were useless! If I paged them it would take them anywhere from 45 min to 3 hours to come to my room. They never took my vitals, never emptied my urine container, and overall I didn't feel like they cared about how I was doing.

There was one nurse, Kelly Holder, if I could have had her for my entire stay - it would have been perfect - but obviously she couldn't work 24 hours a day for 4 straight days. The other nurses weren't as kind or helpful as she was. But I guess they were just really busy... Who knows?

Staff was nice and accommodating. Dr. Mitchell was great. OR and ICU nurses were wonderful! Especially Juanita.
