NORTH VISTA HOSPITAL IS A HIDDEN TREASURE IN LAS VEGAS. LAS VEGAS IS A MORALLY AND ETHICALLY CHALLENGED CITY. HOWEVER NORTH VISTA IS THE BEST HOSPITAL/BUSINESS THAT IN LAS VEGAS THUS FAR.ALONG WITH DR.UMBACH OFFICE AND HIS STAFF I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED IN THE MANNER THAT I'M USE TO IN CALIFORNIA.MY NURSES,CNA'S EVS STAFF ALL PARTIES INVOLVED WITH MY CARE WAS THE BEST.RECOVERY WAS HARD BUT I WOULD NOT ALLOW THAT PERSON TO DICTATE MY REVIEW.MY BARIACTRIC COORDINATOR SARAH WAS THERE FROM START TO FINISH OR ATLEAST EVERY TIME I OPENED MY EYES. MY 2 FAVORITE NURSES THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET IS REXEL AND TERESA,ALSO VALINTINA,MOMMA CLARA,MICHELLE,DAPPHENE AND MERIDITH SHE SANG ME AND MISSES JONES SO SWEET WHILE SHE PUT IN MY IV. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL IN THIS TOWN AFTER THE EXCELLENT CARE AT NORTH VISTA.IF I LEFT ANYONE OUT I'M SORRY BUT YOU ALL WERE AWESOME.AND YOU MADE ME FEEL AT HOME AND COMFORT WHILE IN SO MUCH PAIN.MISS YOU GUYS AND I WILL COME VISIT

The nurses and dr's in the weight loss department were all first class. Really caring and helped with any problems that I had during my stay.

This hospital is older and I would have never thought to go there for anything before this. NOW however I love this hospital. It is small and old and perfect! AMAZING staff.

THE NURSING STAFF IN OUT PATIENT O.R WERE EXCELLENT AS WELL AS THE NURSE ON THE BARIATRIC SURGICAL FLOOR. ALL WERE VERY HELPFUL AND CARING ESPECIALLY SUSAN & MARY.

The nurses were wonderful, they were VERY attentive and caring. The staff was very understanding.

I initally was a bit put off as I am used to other new hospitals in the area. But the care FAR exceeded my Las Vegas experiences over the past 10 years with my own needs as well as an elderly parant. This hospital is not understaffed and over booked! Each shift of staff checked in and introduced themselves. It was quiet and if I rang for the nurse, I did not wait long at all. Also, the ring was at the nurses station where as other hospitals you hear the constant DOB in the rooms. I really did get good care and good rest!

North Vista may not be in the greatest area, but inside it's the best around. The staff goes above and beyond and I felt very comfortable being there. I was there three times (LapBAND, endoscopy, RNY) and I'd go back 100 times more.

My experience at NVH was great! The staff was super friendly (my nurses were Raquel and Dakon ... both great!), knowledgeable, thorough, and knew how to handle WLS patients. I didn't get to choose my food but it wasn't too bad (considering I could only have liquids). Everything was clean and the phone and TV were free of charge to use. The nurses checked on the patients all the time and made sure we got up to walk and do things on our own. The only complaint I have was when it was time for everyone to go to sleep, some of the nurses were very loud in the hallways and woke the patients up.
