This Mexican hospital was a little old, but very, very clean and accomodating.

The hospitals in the states could learn alot from this facility in the care and compassion department. They don't forget about the patients needs.When you need a nurse or pain pill someone is there.

Main portion of the hospital is old, but very clean. The surgical wing for gastric patients is newer and very, very nice. Everything was clean, clean, clean. The staff was super sweet, although be prepared for a slight language barrier from the nurses (although the surgeons and assistants of the bariatric clinic all speak VERY good English).

The nurses gave IV pain meds to fast, which caused pain when receiving meds.

It is a very old fashioned hosptal but it was spotless and Dr. Alvarez has his own staff. What ever equipment needed they seem to have.

The hospital was clean and quiet. The rooms are private and nicely decorated(flooring & tiles very nice). The staff is friendly, even though there is a language barrier, it was easy enough to communicate my needs.

Although the building may be older, the equipment used in the OR and X-Ray is state of the art.
