Was very satisfied with the care. Nurses are run ragged with all patients they care for, but do the best they can. Very caring and compassionate

Black mold,construction (painting and drywall being hung ). Nurses all but one took forever to answer my page...I almost wet myself because the nurse waited 15 mins to help me out of bed.
The noise from the construction was Horrible and the dust was just as bad. the day of my surgery the nurses were on strike so no wonder I didn't get the care I paid for. I will never go back to this hospital.
Oh wait the beds were the worst Im only 5'5 and my feet were hitting the bottom and way to soft.

They were very concerned with controlling my pain and making sure that my needs were met. I was actually able to rest for the most part. All of the staff seemed warm and friendly and willing to help.

The hospital was great. All patients have private rooms and the nursing staff was very responsive and nice. Visitors could stay as late as they wanted...mine stayed until midnight and it wasn't a problem.

One more note should be made about St. John's... Frank G., the head of the bariatric program there is wonderful. He's funny , enthusiastic and, mostly, encouraging -- all of which helped relax me and let me know I'd made the right hospital decision.

The nursing staff was wonderful! I had only one nurse that I wasn't crazy about, the rest were so attentive and really had great bed-side manners! It sure made the stay much easier!! The rooms are all private and mine was pretty large. I had visitors constantly and they never complained. My mom was able to stay with me the first 2 nights and then my husband on the 3rd. I highly recommend St. John's in Oxnard!!

We had a wonderful experience there. The intake coordinator was wonderful!! He visited me each day. They were all very attentive to my needs.
